Unbelievably Good
This thing is built like a tank. Its weight is shocking at first, and the fit&finish are impeccable. Right off the bat, these are populated with only one SODIMM (as described) so you can add another module (I used a Crucial stick of the same size/type) with no issue. The fan noise is very pleasant - it has a 'whoosh' sound instead of a whiny, high-pitched noise.Pros:- Fast. Very fast. I briefly tried out windows 11 (included) and it was very speedy. There was no bloatware on it as well (which I found surprising). Running ChimeraOS, steam games run shockingly well.- Quiet. Pleasant fan noise that only ramps rarely.- Well-built. The fit & finish are very, very nice. All pieces fit together extremely well.- RGB hardware button. There's a button on the back that requires only one press to turn off the RGB lights on the top. The 'off' state is remembered across reboots/power cuts!- BIOS. This appears to run a 'reference' AMD BIOS (this is a good thing) that exposes a LOT of options.Cons:- Front USB ports are extremely tight - it's a struggle to plug/unplug items.- Only one M.2 slot - Another slot would've been nice.- I wish it had the option for a USB-C PD port (instead of a 19V barrel jack). For the price (I was able to grab it for $450!) this has got to be the best AMD 7840-based mini PC out there. I would absolutely buy another one. I was hesitant at first as I'd never heard of this company but they quickly went to the top of my 'good brands' list after fiddling with this system.

Super Slow Wi-Fi and Terrible Performance
Abysmal performance compared to other Mini PC's with a Ryzen 7 7840HS processor and 780M Graphics.Wi-fi is abhorrently slow too, only reaching a fast as 1Mbps, even with the latest drivers installed. Not to mention that I had jump through hoops contacting the manufacturer just to get the drivers, since their downloads page was down. Terrible customer service, Peladn uploaded the drivers onto a third party file sharing website called "ctfile" so I could download their drivers. No way I was paying premium just to download some device drivers, so it took 3 hours just to download 1GB using the free tier of "ctfile" despite my Gigabit internet connection. Very, very, very unprofessional for a company as big as Peladn.I bought this device simply because the specs looked good on paper, should have done more research first before buying this Chinesium crap. Save your sanity and purchase a Mini PC from a well known brand instead, such as Beelink or Minisforum. You'll have a way better experience than I did. DO NOT BUY FROM PELADN. THEY ARE AN UNPROFESSIONAL JOKE OF A COMPANY.

Buyer beware, lists as Nvidia GPU... it's not
This product lists that it is an nvidia j. Force GT X1050 GPU. But it is actually a radion 780M. It is a good little pc, but I do not like the fact that under the pc information they give incorrect and false data. So far, it has worked really well As APC for taking some of the stress off my main pc for streaming. It is decent computer, but I am still upset that they lied about the gpu.

Metal construction, worked out of the box
I have been using MinisForum and Bee-Link mini PCs as both low-power Linux servers as well as remote-play Windows PCs for a couple years now. This PELADN system is my new favorite for low-power gaming. With an HDMI dummy dongle, I run Sunshine on this box, Moonlight on a MacBook Pro, and play older Windows games over the local network. It would probably serve just fine as a regular budget desktop gaming PC, but it definitely has the horsepower for more demanding non-gaming workloads. I also found this unit very easy to service and it has a very clean design. RGB is none of my concern, and thankfully it can be disabled easily. No regrets, and I would eagerly look forward to PELADN's future offerings if they keep this up.

Strange
What an odd little PC. I picked this up because it was by a good chunk, the cheapest 7840HS box on the market, but wasn't sure if I was getting a deal or a project. The SSD is rebranded, they just slapped their sticker over the OEM one, but the part number doesn't turn up anything. However, the controller is a phison E27T, dramless. Speeds are surprisingly good though, getting 6.7GB/s read 4.2GB/s write, with reasonable scaling down the stack.Wifi is an Intel AX200NGW; a good card. But wifi performance is abysmal because it's trapped inside a metal box. It's essentially in its own faraday cage, don't expect anything out of this. A fix would probably be to re-locate the wifi antennas outside the box, but I haven't looked at how reasonable this is yet.Similarly, LAN is a broadcom RTL8125 2.5gbe unit. Can't find the 1gbe unit in lspci, possibly disabled in the BIOS.BIOS itself looks like it's an entirely unmodified and unlocked one beyond branding. SN isn't even filled out, whole section is just 0xFFs. Even has the "Demo board" menu option. Many of the settings are not relevant to this board (has options for stuff like fingerprint sensors). I tuned the fan settings a bit to idle higher, which reduces ramping while keeping it silent at idle-adjacent loads in my workspace. Default TDP setting is 45w, you can configure up to 54, though you don't gain much beyond a bit of multicore past 28, so consider lowering it if you want to reduce noise a bit more.I can't get the thing to resume from sleep. Probably an ACPI bug in this bios version but I can't find any place listing a newer one. Will contact the MFG and report back if I find one.Fan control can be adjusted in the bios. The nvme fan makes a racket so I just turned it off, it's not doing much useful.Ram config is a single stick, so feel free to slap another one in there.Giving it 3 stars for now, will upgrade to 4 if I can get the sleep issue fixed, and 5 if I can somehow coerce the wifi antennas to not suck without running the thing without just leaving half the case off.
