Does what it states.
Used other products to first clean and revitalise roof on my 27 year old Saab convertible bought new in 1996. Over time have tried to keep roof in as good a condition as possible. Roof remains in one piece and fairly good condition but living out in the “sticks” do get a lot of green on the roof from trees etc. Do mainly keep in my garage though. Anyway based on reviews took a chance on this product. As I said used two other products from another manufacturer to get roof as clean as possible and ready for this to be put on. Choose a dry day with no rain forecast the following day. My roof still had some green from trees etc. on it so was hoping this product would cover everything. Should not have worried as the black “paint” covered everything perfectly and gave a great covering all round. Just make sure you do roof in one go. I did one side of roof then went round to other side immediately to do that to avoid any paint lines. Use a soft bristle brush that is normally used for gloss paint and did have enough to go over all areas again. Could you use a gloss roller? Possibly but you would not get into the corners of the roof very well and this is where I had the green from trees etc. It covered them and everything perfectly. As you go round though doing the “painting” make sure you have plenty of rags. This is to wipe any running paint off glass and bodywork immediately as it states could become hard to remove if left too long on paintwork. 100% coverage and all green from trees etc. totally covered. After leaving for a day or so then put a final protection coat (different product) on top of paint and roof really looks nearly new. I knew it had done a good job as when out driving saw someone turn round and take a second look at car. They must have thought that roof looks great for a “P” regd. enough said. The whole process of using various cleaners, final black paint and then protection product was hard work but results totally worth it.

Soft top restorer
Pleased with the results of my black soft top was going bit grey, aged etc but like new now manage do two coats with it which was obviously better result , easy to apply too. You just have to be careful applying it because it's a thin liquid dye and can drip or run but wipes of easy and dries quick .

Looks a lot better if you apply waterproofer as well
Before and after photos belowwith just cleaner and restorer I was a little disappointed with the results; applying the waterproofer deepened the colour and made the finish more consistent ...pleased with the final outcome.

Does Exactly What it Says
Used this product on my convertible Mini One, and I have to say I was very impressed. Easy to apply - you just brush it on with a paintbrush - it's fairly idiot-proof, which is handy for someone with my skill at car maintenance. I'd bought the car secondhand a few months ago, and the soft top was always a little faded and worn. This brought it back to almost-good-as-new condition in just two coats. Some tips:1. The instructions on the bottle warns you not to get it on the paintwork. You are 100% going to get it on the paintwork! The liquid has the consistency of inky water, so even the slightest breeze will cause it to splash. But don't panic, just keep a damp cloth handy as you apply and wipe off spillages . (It doesn't seem to damage the paintwork, the smaller splashes in particular are just much harder to remove once they're dry).2. You probably need more product than you think. The material on mine drank it up and I easily used two whole bottles on not quite two coats for a small convertible.3. Each coat took about 40 minutes. The ideal day to do it would be overcast with little chance of rain, because heavy sun might cause the dye to dry unevenly. However, it dries very fast, so I found it was OK to put the cover back on about an hour after I finished. All in all, a bit of patience and the top looks good as new!
