Almost perfect design
Works great on my Framework 13 AMD (running Bluefin) via the USB4 ports. Extremely lightweight plastic construction which is great for travel at the expense of durability perhaps. Would have liked to see a detachable USB cable but the built-in cable wrapping solution is well thought out.

Just what I wanted
Works great for my purpose. Not a huge number of ports but it will run my DQHD (5120x1440) monitor at 120Hz on Windows and 60Hz from an Apple Silicon Mac once I bought a suitable DP 2.1 cable.

I could not power on as there was something rattling inside it as shown on my video
The media could not be loaded. Due to rattling noise of something broken inside upon receipt, I could not test this product.Packaging was good, but the product quality was a little cheap (light plastic).Cable management was only good around corners but a little loose on the sides.

Affordable and efficient connectivity.
My husband, a graphic designer, recently incorporated this 8-in-1 USB 4 Dock into his daily workflow. This compact hub surprised him with its smaller-than-expected size, contributing to a tidy workspace. The attached cable neatly wraps for convenient storage.Equipped with essential ports such as USB Type C power delivery, 2 display ports, 4 USB ports, and an ethernet port, the USB 4 Dock enables seamless connectivity for multiple devices. The impressive 40 Gbps speed ensures swift data transfer, vital for managing large graphic files, while the 85W power delivery efficiently charges his MacBook during data-intensive tasks.Despite warming up during extended use, the hub remains cooler than alternatives. With reliable bandwidth, solid connections, and a reasonable cost, it proves to be a cost-effective solution that complements different devices. The built-in blue light on the USB-C cord adds a nice touch. It is an excellent choice for users with newer hardware, offering cost-effectiveness, compact design, 4K 240Hz support, gigabit ethernet, and three 10Gbps USB ports. The only drawback is the non-detachable cable, which may limit compatibility with certain USB-C switches. Nevertheless, considering its overall performance and features, it stands out as a great choice for users. At £79.99 (at the time of writing), it offers an excellent price for a compact hub of good quality and functionality.

Disappointing compatibility
I have two laptops that currently share two Display Port connections through a single dock. And it's a big dock.So I way very excited to have a compact dock that would be a one for one replacement. My laptops are Dell and HP. One is a workhorse of a laptop, the other is gaming, and both are only a few years old.The power delivery PD pass through works, the USB work, but the laptops are both entirely unaware the monitors exist.I'm not sure if I received a dud or if it's just a compatibility issue, but either way very disappointed.

Impressive for the price
As an end user not a technical guru I can only speak from a user point of view. Comparing this to my current one it's far more efficient and not glitchy like others I've used. So far I've not had one glitch with this - everything has run smoothly.I did have a problem trying to connect it to my old pc as the pc unit is usb 3 sockets and this dock has a usb c connection on the cable but I soon resolved it by using a usb 3 to usb c adaptor. Everything else fit perfectlyOne thing I did want to note is that when pulling the cable out of the groove on the side be aware that the usb c connection is slotted inside the end of the casing so be careful when pulling the cable out so as not to damage the usb c connection point. It's best to pull the cable down away from the end rather than outwards. All in all a good quality dock and I'm extremely pleased with its performance

Very impressive
As docks go, they don’t really get much better than this. It’s well thought out, from the cable wrapping around to the ports included. This does support up to 100W PD and that is enough for most modern laptops for general use. Maybe not for more intense use without using the battery up as well. The cable folds around the dock to keep it neat and safe during travel. I’ve found it sits on my desk most of the time as I need more ports on my laptop. If you do travel though, this is light weight and robust. The ports are some of the best you can get. Dual display ports, very fast USB ports. This really is designed to complement a fast and modern laptop. Of course it will work with older laptops in a more limited way but it’s only worth getting if you can use it to its full potential.
