My first order of this product did have a problem with the left side not producing the correct amount of steam after using just twice, so because I really liked this item I did re-order, glad I did because the second STEAM MASK works great. I have Blepharitis/dry eye (Inflammation of the eye lids which causes redness, swelling, itchiness, & burning), after 3 yrs. of using all kinds of Sprays, Ointments, & Meds., prescribed by my Ophthalmologist, this works the best because it is working on removing the clogged oil that is blocking the glands that should be producing your tears, it will take time but it gets to the root of the problem, as a Nurse I find the STEAMING MASK is a great addition to your treatment list. I was also told via my Ophthalmologist to purchase AVENOVA and add this to the regime she has me on which Amazon has available. Each Pt.'s treatment directions are different so follow your Doctors Orders and at least add the STEAMING MASK with your Dr.'s well wishes.

I have bad allergies and my eyes are always dry. This had a fine mist that hydrates dry eyes. It has a warm and cool mist function. The only downside is I have a small face and it is a little too big to seal completely. The Bluetooth feature is nice so I can play my own music.

Great for dry eye disease! Comfortable (unlike the massaging mask by the same company), easy to use, easy to clean.

I like how this device feels on my eyes. It's soothing and relaxing. It works well, BUT it comes with a bag of little crescent shaped foam pads (that look like little foam bananas) that you have to place in shallow grooves in the mask under each eye. Their purpose is to catch water droplets that accumulate from the steam so they don't run down your cheeks and collect in the mask. The problem is they do not stay in place very well at all. I have to be very careful putting the mask on to keep them in place. More times than not, I put it on and immediately feel one of the "bananas" up on my eyelid or on my actual eye and have to take them off and start over. I have tried using the mask without them and didn't like the feeling of the water dripping down my face at all. The groove that's supposed to hold them in place is very shallow and doesn't work well. The addition of the little bananas seems like a inadequate, quick "fix" for the water accumulation issue that the manufacturer came up with after the fact.I do like the mask, and the price is good, but the aforementioned issue is very annoying.

I'm giving this 2 stars of 5, only because when it works, it feels great. The problem is it doesn't always produce the mist.Pros:+When it's actually producing the mist, it feels great on my eyes. It's relaxing and my eyes are really moisturized. I find it soothing, when it works.+I will say that I have never had issues with the moisture running down my face as I've seen others complain about. And I don't use the little absorbent pads to catch the moisture.Cons/Critiques:-I have had issues with this consistently producing mist since I got it. I reached out for customer support, and they asked me to record a video showing me filling the chamber and prove that it wasn't working (or at least that I wasn't using it right). Of course, as soon as I set up my camera, the thing worked and seemed to work at least half the time. #1 regret: I should have returned it right then and there.-sitting here almost 2 months after purchase, and far beyond my return window, it's not producing mist AGAIN.Mist comes out one eye with the "sanitizing" mode, but as soon as I turn on the therapeutic mist, nothing.-A light comes on during the sanitizing mode, but when it's on any of the therapeutic modes, there is no visible sign that it's on. I suppose you're SUPPOSED to see mist but when there's no mist, there's no way to tell that it's on besides that annoying music.-The music that is supposed to be soothing has become annoying. I can turn the silent function on, but then I don't know what mode it's on (heated mist, intermittent heat, or cool mist)-The little pads to absorb any moisture are USELESS. They don't stay in place and have no absorbative qualities.
