World of Eric Carle, Animal Tales Sound Storybook Treasury - Play-a-Sound - PI Kids Board book – Sound Book, October 1, 2014

The grandkids always enjoy Eric Carle sound books. The older one reads the stories and the younger one likes to just push the buttons and listen and then say what the animal is. The sound is always nice and clear and the photos on the buttons are easily recognizable. As an added bonus these were offered at a great holiday price.

This really holds the interest of a toddler who loves animals, animal sounds, and pushing buttons! Good sound quality, and it's nice to have something to read about the animals instead of just labeled pictures.

Arrived a few days ahead of schedule, all electronic buttons work, no wear and tear at all really (for being a used book at 3$ instead of 22$ it was a hell of a deal) would gladly by from this thrift store again. As for the book my toddler LOVES it. Animal sounds are clear and entertaining to him, there is also some weather sounds for storms and rain. And some random buttons for up and jump and a weird musical cues (overall less then 5 semi pointless buttons) it’s a good one for toddlers :) ADDED INFO : okay so the back is so heavy it’s completely split into two . Not the sellers fault- it’s just seen that much use... repaired it with cloth and electrical tape we will see how it does.

Got this for my 1.5 y.o. for the holidays. She was initially scared of the sounds (which are pretty loud and not volume adjustable). We read it several times without hitting the buttons. Then I would occasionally push some of the buttons for her. Later she got bolder and started playing with it by herself, pushing them at random and perusing the book. Now she has the positions of every button memorized and loves this book. We call it the Big Book and it was in the daily rotation for weeks. We still pull it out from time to time, and she is able to play with it independently as well as have us read the stories to her. Totally worth the money and shelf space. 10/10 would buy again.

Lol.... my 12 mo lovvvves this book and I go through it with him uncountable times a day he hands it to me to read againnnn play the sounds again . He is just learning the sounds and animals and I’m tired of repeating the sounds 1000 times a day so thanks! Great book great illustrations and author not my only Eric carle book and won’t be the last

Nice loud sounds. My son loves the photos and loves pressing the button to listen to sounds of animals. He uses this book in therapy. He is non verbal autistic.

My son(almost 2) love the book. Buttons are not hard to push for his age but maybe for smaller children it would be. Wish there wasn't as many buttons. Its a bit overwhelming for smaller children. And would be great if it said the animal before it made the noise. But to my son he does not know the difference and loves the book and playing the different animal sounds all the same.
