Shockingly low standard of quality and attention to detail
Laptop came in a box far too large for it, with absolutely no padding at all to stop it rattling around, and the box was even partially opened. The laptop box was scraped, bruised, and perforated, and it even looked like the tape seal may have been opened and closed again. Inside the box, a bit of dirt and debris. The laptop itself was defective. The trackpad simply didn't work at all. I had to send it back for return. The seller sent me an unpaid postage label, which is absurd given that the item was defective. After I sent photos of the damage to the box, they stopped replying to me and I haven't heard from them in a week, so I ended up contacting Amazon who will reimburse me for postage instead.Stupidly, I ordered a replacement while I was trying to sort of the return. Packaging wasn't as bad, it at least had padding this time, but the laptop box was still damaged again and there was still dirt and debris when I opened it.This time there were no hardware issues I'm aware of, but someone installed the wrong version of Windows 11 on it. This laptop only support Windows 11 Home, but it came pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro. There was no easy way I could find to downgrade - and because the windows license was invalid, that means that there was a big watermark that goes on top of everything and I couldn't make any custom personalisation. I ended wasted 6 hours with Microsoft Support trying to resolve this before they eventually gave up and told me to contact the manufacturer. Thankfully ASUS were able to solve the issue with a cloud reset.Terrible experience - every level was bad: the shipping, the customer service, the returns policy, and the quality of the product. DO NOT BUY FROM E&A COMMERCE.
