Works great for small projects definitely something something would need if your always painting or rehabbing items

This significantly speeds up the painting process. The only complaint I have for paint is that it took lots of coats, probably 4-5, to do my crown molding before installing it, though it couldve been the material. But I feel like the amount of thinning required just meant less paint being applied per pass.On the flip side, I used it to apply stain/sealant to my pergola and it did a great job despite the already thinner material. If anything it may put out a bit too much. I turned the output down as low as possible but I stiil had to move pretty quickly to avoid over applying.Still I would absolutely use this sprayer again. Theres a bit of a learning curve and dialing-in phase, but I'd take that over a roller or brush any day.

For a sub $50 sprayer this a good value,Includes 4 nozzles to control flow along with a trigger adjustment for additional fine tuning.Took a couple of tries to find the right flow and nozzle to stain the rails on my fence.Once 'dialed' in the job went quick.I recommend practicing on cardboard to find the right flow, I didn't and sanded the boards before reapplying.Cleanup is easy and if using water based finishes only requires hot soapy water.Not professional grade, but it does the job.

Yesterday, I applied stain to my fence gate. This sprayer was great. Stain is more vicous than paint, so it easily passed the (included) funnel test for viscosity. Thet sprayer had absoltely zero problems atomizing and spraying the stain. It took me 2 hours to do the trim (by hand), and just literally minutes to do both sides of the gate. Coverage is uniform and very easy to control.In my case, I used a 4AH (original) Ryobi battery and had zero battery problems. I imagine I could have painted 4 or so more gates without running out of battery life.The sprayer includes 3 additional nozels; I simply used the default (BLACK) one. The other nozels allow higher or lower flow rates or use with more vicious paints. The inclusion of the vicosity-test funnel as well as directions to dilute (thicker) paint is welcome and clear to amateurs such as myself.Cleanup was easy (in my case). I did immediately clean up with a hose and the sprayer allows each part to be disassembled for best cleaning. After cleaning, I can barely tell it was 'used' (Your milege may vary based on type of paint you use). The sparyer also comes with some small tools that allow you to unclog the nozels -- I never had to use those.In summary, this is a great sprayer and a fantastic addition to your Ryobi-battery-compatible tool library.

Terrible product. Under powered and spray quality/coverage is completely inadequate. I missed my return window by 2 days and now im stuck with it. Do not recommend at all~!

A very basic low cost sprayer. Minimal instructions. It is comparable with Ryobi batteries..

Worth every penny. I bought it to spray metal t-post. It took me about 30 minutes to paint over 100. Highly recommend
