The one I ordered last year was $50. +, and it turned my granddaughter neck green. This time I made sure I purchased sterling silver hopefully this will work out.

To REVIEWER JENEANE VANDERHOOF That black box with the cellophane panels is called a Windowpane Jewelry Box. You open it up and place the jewelry between the cellophane pieces. This allows you to see the entire piece at a glance. And I think it was Coco Chanel that said to remove the mos† obvious piece of your ensemble.This necklace is exquisitely packaged. The Seller has certainly covered all the bases. The necklace itself is in a gift box with a surprisingly inexpensive piece of foam used to hold it in place. I would’ve expected black velvet considering the remainder of the packaging. There is also a clear vinyl ziplock pouch, a windowpane display box, a packaged polishing cloth, alcohol swab, info about the company and a gift bag and wrapped in tissue paper inside a large rectangular gift box. The opening of the jewelry box however, was anti climatic. The pendant is quite small and dainty. It is two hearts, one on top of the other with clear zirconia s†ones. It is pretty enough but the pendant does not have the Hallmark Sterling Silver stamp so I’m not sure from what metal it is manufactured. The bail and Hallmark tag are stamped but not the actual pendant. I think this packaging is the major portion of the cost of this item as I don’t see that value in the necklace itself. I think the price point is exorbitant even if the Pendant had been stamped. I do not recommend this product, no matter how nicely packaged it is. The packaging should not be more impressive than the piece of jewelry.

Necklace was given as a gift. Simply dainty and beautiful

I got this for my cousin and the chain is a bit too short for her. This is for someone that is smaller and not medium to large size neck.The pendant is very pretty and looks nice.

Since most of the pendants I order on Amazon are larger (not overly so), I was surprised when I saw how much smaller this one was (compared to most of the others on Amazon). But the piece fits with the theme "CharmTale" as it is very dainty- and charmingly beautiful. It is always nice to have jewelry that isn't "in your face"...I'll explain it with something I learned when I was young- whether it was from television, or a beauty magazine- it was so long ago I don't remember who gave me the tip. But, it goes like this- After a woman gets herself all done up and is ready to go, she is supposed to turn her back to her mirror and then swiftly turn around and face it. The first thing she sees, she is supposed to remove. Supposedly (according to that tip) the thing that you see first is something that you are wearing that is "too much" (thus, why it should be removed).The "CharmTale necklace" is not something that would ever have to be removed doing this- however, while it blends into what a person is wearing when someone notices it- they will see its beauty- even with its small size. Things don't have to be big and gaudy to be beautiful- this CharmTale heart necklace proves that.It comes beautifully packaged in a large pink box (pink being the theme, it seems of CharmTale) and the young woman I got this for had a wonderful time taking it out. First, you open the lovely larger box and you find many things inside. Since there is tissue paper that is sealed with a sticker upon opening the box (and you can't get to anything until it is broken), I wanted her to "break the seal" on her own.When she did this- we found many things inside- one of which is a bag that you can put the item in, if you want. However, you must break the sticker that seals the tissue paper first, to get to it. Since I didn't know what was under there (wanting the gift receiver to have the joy of unwrapping the package and breaking the seal) I didn't get to put the item in the bag. However, if you are reading this, you will know what is under the tissue paper- to put it in the bag if you want.Also inside is the box the necklace comes in- a smaller version of the larger box, with the necklace inside. I loved how the large box, the jewelry box, and the bag were all stamped with The CharmTale Jewelry name. The small white bag's handles are made of white ribbon- everything in this order is- "the best of the best".There is also an insert from CharmTale jewelry with maintenance tips, a silver polishing cloth (in its own labeled envelope), an alcohol swab, a clear plastic holder (either storage for the necklace or the polish cloth, I am not sure), an alcohol swab and something that I don't know what to do with- it is a black frame with clear protective sheets on either side. It is labeled open and the black framed object separates- if you look at my photos, you can see what it is as I tried to photograph it as much as I could, so others might be able to make out what it is- and what to do with it. I thought it could be a display case for the necklace or something that aids in keeping it clean. I am still on the hunt to find out exactly what to do with it. But it is only part of this order- the necklace being of the most importance in it.A great gift for a young girl or woman even the name CharmTale is wonderful- and they have designed some charming jewelry. I really like this charm. I needed a longer chain, but didn't mind because it is so beautiful. I feel elegant when I wear it. It appears much more expensive than the price tag. Excellent item!

This necklace is really pretty and dainty. I love the heart design and the meaning. The chain isn’t that long and very thin, not sure how it’ll hold up.
