Fast or what!
I have just started making popcorn in the microwave and as my microwave is not that powerful as it is only 800 watts, it takes me about 5 to 10 mins to make any popcorn and I have tried different methods and some are slower than others and they all have a lot of unpopped kernels which even though they can be used again, is annoying. However, the popcorn I did make in the microwave did have a nice crunch to it even if some of it was a tad burned! But I wanted to compare it to popcorn made in a machine. On the downside, the popcorn in the popcorn maker is a tad less crunchy and so more chewy which is not such a bad thing but it may not be to everyone's liking but that can easily be overcome by drying it out a tad more in the microwave for a minute or two and then just give it time to cool off. However, I can't really fault the popcorn maker apart from having to be careful with the lid as it does come off very easily, but as long as you treat it with care, it works fine and instead of taking 5 to 10 mins to make the popcorn in my microwave, it only took about 3 mins to do a whole batch and it only left 4 unpopped kernels at the bottom which is a great improvement. I would suggest that you stand by it as with the final bits shoot out they can miss the bowl but that was only about 4 pieces that did that. So, on the whole, I would say that for the price it is a great bit of kit and intend to use it on a regular basis, but make sure that you leave it for at least 10 mins for it to cool down before you do another batch or it will over-heat and never put in more than a level cupful or 80 grams and the machine should last a long time. I have no idea how long it will last but hopefully it will last for more than a year. I would certainly recommend this product even though I was a tad unsure due to the mixed reviews, but from my personal experience, all that I can say is that it makes very good popcorn very quickly and it tastes great

Easy to use and pops all kernels
This is a great compact popcorn machine. Small enough to store away when not in use. Popped all the kernels. The instruction booklet has suggestions for seasoning your popcorn. We tried sweet cinnamon crunch and it was delicious. Very easy to use and a more even distribution of popped kernels that you don't get with microwave popcorn.

Good Popcorn
I really like this popper, I don’t find the popcorn to be chewy like several previous reviewers stated. My only complaint would be that it gets very hot and I wouldn’t attempt to do a second batch until it cools down.

Poor quality, doesn’t even turn on
Awful quality product. Used once, followed instructions, no oil or butter added and it worked very well. Went to use a second time and it would not power on. Product is very poor quality.I would recommend never buying this.

Cheaper, Quicker & Healthier than the Microwave Stuff!
Ok, so I like popcorn - lots of it. I'm the 'wrong side of 40' and have reached that age where you look down at your waistline in the morning and wonder just what has happened overnight... I also have four kids and Saturday night - especially during these Covid days - has become etched in stone as Family Film Night. In the month or so we have had this we reckon it has paid for itself compared with buying the microwave stuff. It's dead easy to use: pop the scoop of kernels in, turn it on and quicker than a microwave pings you have a LARGE bowl of hot popcorn. Haven't tried it with pre-flavoured kernels, but we've found that tossing popcorn in a little extra virgin olive oil and a little salt works just fine. [Packet instructions say to use melted butter, but we found this made some of the popcorn too soggy.] We tried the "Cinnamon Crunch" recipe (included) - nice, but loads of sugar so avoid the bathroom scales for a few days and get on that exercise bike... ;)Just make sure you buy plenty of kernels - you don't need very many per go, but you'll want to eat plenty!
