I started working on optimizing my travel packing skills including consolidating to a travel backpack carryon and a sling bag for my personal item, but wanted a little more space and easy access on the sling bag. I saw this and the other WYNEX double pouch and purchased both to see how much of a difference there was.-The two pouches on both seem the same as well as the attachment points behind.Differences with regards to this water bottle version:-The bottom pouch when the outer zipper is closed is slightly less roomy than the other version. My iphone 13 with a slim case fits snug (not too tight, not too loose).-The bottom pouch outer zipper zips COMPLETELY separated to allow the bottle holder parts to expand. So you would just leave this open the whole time unless you want a more streamlined look.- My 21 oz standard hydroflask bottle fits well although it sticks out due to its length/height. YMMV whether this bothers you or not.(Note: in the other version, the zipper doesn't open completely (zipper pull has a bottom to it) and the outer compartment is deeper so you could put sunglasses there).- However, I decided if I just use the water bottle area for a super fast access pocket, it might work just as well for sunglasses.So I think I'll keep both and try them in diff situations with diff packs. However, they seem useful enough to add utility to whatever you are using already.

Easy to attach to a variety of backpack straps and is easily interchangeable from pack to pack or from one strap to the other. Top compartment easily holds small handheld radio, zippered compartment will hold thin items, such as a cellphone, however, with a water bottle inserted in outer compartment, it's difficult to remove item/phone from zippered pouch without removing water bottle. The top compartment of the pouch when mounted on backpack strap is likely to be close to your chin/cheek area and may be distracting for some. Great value, well made, and looks like it will be durable.

Very nicely made storage for shoulder straps. I use the larger pouch for a large pepper spray canister. Great for additional storage for items you use regularly or need easy access.

Good built.1 side of the bottom pocket can hold my energy drink,and the other bottom pocket can hold my Samsung phone. The two top pockets have too much gap,so you can't really put anything small in it .So for me that's 2 pockets that I can't really use.

Wish I had picked up the two pack. Folds away so it’s not in the way when not in use so should have put one on each side of my bag.Little tight for Nalgene bottle but great for yeti cup

One of the best latches and popular add-ons for most backpacks! It's a really handy little tool if you want an extra spot to hold your water bottle or other small items that fit in the compartment.
