Oh it's strong. Very strong. For necklace purposes do not go above the 6lb. It will be plenty strong for anything you might want to hang from it. Any higher tension strength, and you could have a disaster if if was suddenly pulled.For the super high strength ones (Think I saw one for 300lbs. MY GOD) I'm kinda surprised it's not more regulated you could killed someone. You could kill someone with the weak ones. You secure this up, and someone runs into fast enough? They gonna have a bad day. In a really bad way. Like hospital, or morgue day. NOT SUITABLE FOR PRANKS. Definitely suitable for probably anything else.I did notice the color faded after a short while. I think. Could be mistaken. My air-conditioning was out, and the salt from my sweat might have turned it white. But even if it did fade. I'm not using it as intended. Probably not meant to be reused for many multiple consecutive days at a time.

Works ok. Casts a mile. Strong line. Easy to tie knots with. Handled a 10lbs catfish just fine, along with bass.Update:The wind knots are brutal with this line. Switched to Berkley XL Triline.

My favorite braid ! Great for casting and strong . I use the 6 lbs braid for crappie fishing casting or just jigging over brush!

Hello Anglers,I was asked by Cathy, a owner of Piscifun if I would provide a honest review and my opinion of the product that I purchased. I purchased the Piscifun 80lb braid in black.From the start I was a little on the fence about trying a new brand that was completely unfamiliar to me. I have in the past been a loyal customer to a brand that is very familiar to most braided line fisherman. I'm not sure if I can post the name so I'll let you fill in the blanks and most should be able to figure it out. The name is P-W-R-P-O. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about that product.In the beginning I was a little concerned about the quality of the Piscifun line due to the fact it seemed it was not color fast because it turned my fingers black when I spooled my reel. I thought for sure it would wash out as soon as I put it in the water and stain everything black while I was fishing. I was pleasantly surprised that didn't happen although, the line did eventually end up a dark grey rather than true black.I put a lot of faith in this Piscifun line trying it for the first time considering it's first test was under tournament conditions at a local Halibut derby this past weekend 5/25-5/26 2016. I was bouncing 3lb cannon ball weights with spreader bar and large herring with squid hoochie's. Didn't win 1st place but did win 2nd place with a 69.7lb Pacific Halibut for a $2500.00 prize.The Piscifun line performed beautifully with absolutely no problems. All the knots held great with no slippage and I had no break offs or any line failure at all. I plan to try more of their lines on all my salmon rods this summer and into the fall here in the NW. I would recommend Piscifun braided line to anyone that has or may be considering trying something new. I was not given anything, products, money or otherwise for this review just merely asked for an honest opinion and I'm in no way affiliated with the Piscifun company.
