I ADORE this set. I've purchased it twice now (one for myself and one as a gift) and can confidently say that it beats out all the competition for non-professional watercolors at this price. The pigment is strong and I love how many colors there are to play with. If you decide to get this palette I'd strongly recommend investing in high quality watercolor paper and I'd encourage that you spray your paints lightly prior to use. The paint brushes themselves are just okay. It's nice that the kit includes these extras (especially the water brushes which are decent!).

Okay your hesitant to purchase bc really, how could you expect quality at this price. Right? I get it. So was I. I was low on funds though and still needed paints. I browsed for a week here on Amazon and 10 other retailers, reading reviews and looking for recommendations. I thought that I had no choice but to take a chance on a brand I'd never heard of or sacrifice color composition. So I picked Keepwaters 100 colors watercolor set. I refused to have any expectations. It came yesterday and I immediately opened the package and set to work to see if my gamble paid off. It not only paid off but will continue to pay off for a long time! This set is fantastic. 100 beautiful watercolors plus 3 paint brushes, 3 different size water fillable brushes, 10 sheets of good watercolor paper, a swatch card, a sponge, pencil and an eraser for free! The watercolors are contained in a beautiful and convenient locking tin too! I swatched the colors immediately and was giddy with how beautiful the colors are. Vibrant,bold, beautiful colors! I absolutely love this set and would recommend that you stop the search and buy now. You won't be disappointed. This was my first purchase but it will not be my last. The color and pallet itself is nice but the brushes leave hairs behind when painting.

So glad it came with the swatch sheet! These colors work so well and make painting on the super easy.Colors are vibrant. And the Metallics are super pretty! I took it with me to Hawaii! Very pleased with this nice compact watercolors set. The color cubes themselves are small but last a long time. Nice tin. Would recommend to other buyers.

I bought this water color kit for my kids to practice watercolor painting. I am surprised by the quality of the watercolor. The additional brushes and watercolor papers are good add on to this set. Especially the swatch sheet, very useful as the water color on paper doesn't look the same as the solid pigments. I have attached a picture shows my swatch sheet done half way. It takes time to fill the swatch sheet, but it's very necessarily to have it done before the painting.
