Stream lined and easy to use
I purchased this electric broom to mainly pickup dog hair. I have a lab that sheds constantly and when you sweep, the dust balls fly off the dust pan. Not wanting to haul out the heavy duty vacuum cleaner or mess with a broom everyday, I went this route. The description of the product online is pretty thorough. Its purpose and function are very clear. The product arrived promptly and was conveniently packaged. The instructions are super easy to follow and i had it put together in a couple of minutes. I primarily use it to pick up dog hair daily and this does the trick. Pros: a) it takes up very little storage space in my closet. b) it goes under cabinet fronts and chair rails easily. c) the canister that holds the dust is easy to remove and empty. You need to do that every time you use it. d) extremely light weight. Its actually fun and pleasurable to use. Everyone in the house loves pushing it around. e) Does what its supposed to do in my application. If your constantly having to sweep this makes it pleasurable and super easy. f) great design and I like the color. g) There are no on/off buttons. You simply push the handle and it starts. Cons: a) though the rotating brush is very easy to remove its like cleaning a hair brush. The dog hair gets twisted around the roller. b) I wish the plug in cord to charge it was near the top then rather at the bottom. But not sure how that could work. I still love it despite that. If anyone is short on storage and or needs to sweep daily this is a great product. A few notes a) I found it works best with a direct forward motion vs a vacuum style back and forth. If you pull back it will deposit the hair from the roller onto the carpet. b) I found the Karcher works very well on my thinner indoor/outdoor rugs but following instructions I have not used it on my deeper pile rugs of which it is not intended for. c) It seems to pick up dirt on my tile floor fairly well in the mudroom. D) I have an outlet in my utility closet. This makes it convenient for plugging it in to charge. I've never owed an electric sweeper so I have nothing to compare it to. I'm very pleased with this product and really do like it and recommend it.

Karcher KB5 vs. Bissel Turbo Sweeper
We've had 2 Bissel Turbo Sweepers in as many years and they have been great. The Bissells are budget friendly at ~$40, whereas the Karcher is closer to ~$75. We've used the hell out of our Bissells until they died, but it was time to see what else was in the market. I'm glad I did. I thoroughly loved our Bissells, but the Karcher KB5 is awesome.Lightweight - this unit is so lightweight that my 2 y/o can fling it around without any issues. With the Bissell, she would struggle to maneuver around the dining table. It is very lightweight, but don't let that fool you of it's power. Kind of like Baby Yoda...right?Suction Power - this is a sweeper and not a vacuum, so there is NO suction. With that being said, the rollers are awesome. They are nice and stiff, but don't harm hardwood floors. It works great on our hardwoods, but when transitioning to our carpet the rollers got stuck. Our carpet is pretty plush, so I wasn't surprised - it only illustrated how powerful the motor runs.Battery Longevity - this is really really REALLY key! You don't want to be running around doing your sweeper and then...battery dies. The Bissell was notorious for this and it was very frustrating. Out of the box, the Karcher is charged, which is very nice. I was able to begin testing right away and ran it for over a week, before the red light came on to be charged. Even then, the sweeper was running a full power.Overall Impression - LOVE LOVE LOVE! I wasn't sure about the Karcher, but now I'm sold on their products. Another note, these are made in Germany, if that matters to any of you too.

A good idea, but...
A good idea, but poor implementation. We've had our Karcher Floor Sweeper for about 4 months. The battery is shot. Give it a full charge and it runs for about one minute before it's dead again. Also, the front brush attracts hair and needs constant cleaning. Fortunately, the unit comes apart easily to do this.

Worth the money but durability is questionable
I recently purchased the Kärcher KB 5 Electric Floor Sweeper Broom, and overall, I've been quite satisfied with its performance. The lightweight and cordless design make it incredibly convenient for quick clean-ups around the house, and its multi-surface capabilities ensure versatility in tackling various types of debris.I particularly appreciate its effectiveness in picking up fur, hair, dirt, and other debris, leaving my floors looking clean and tidy. The 8.25" cleaning width is sufficient for most tasks, allowing me to cover large areas efficiently. However, I did encounter an issue with durability, as I had to replace it within three years due to a breakdown. While this was disappointing, I must acknowledge that during its operational period, it served me well and met my cleaning needs effectively.Overall, I would still recommend the Kärcher KB 5 Electric Floor Sweeper Broom for its performance and convenience, but potential buyers should be aware of the possibility of durability issues over time.

Perfect little vacuum
I love this vacuum. I am a server, we have to bring our own vacuum for work. We have used several brands and styles, this one is my favorite. Picks up great, easy to use, most importantly the battery last long. It takes awhile throught our shift to vacuum and almost all vaccuum batteries die within 20 minutes. I have raved about this vacuum at work so your sales are about to go up now because several of my co workers are going to be purchasing this vacuum.

On the fence
I do like the concept of this , and it does work better than others I have purchased, however it turns off, if you don’t move it correctly it goes well and picks up better than some. It wasn’t as good as I was hoping or what the reviews said. I still use it because I do have our cat litter in one of the bathroom, so that is primarily why I bought it, but as I’m going back-and-forth, it will sometimes just turn red if I hit a bump. I’m not sure I’d buy it again. I have not found that perfect manual broom sweeper yet, but I’m still looking.
