Amazing book
It is more important than ever to take our mental health seriously due to the stresses that life brings. The 5 Pillars of Brain Optimization: 77 Techniques & Hacks to Achieve Peak Performance is a great book that pointed me in the right direction in terms of my mental stability. There are so many tips and tricks here that have helped me get through some dark and challenging times.I have been able to achieve my goals thanks to this book and I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their mental state.

It's awful, and I think it's AI-generated.
References to scholarly work are minimal, the writing is too verbose, and the content is extremely basic. This book's really annoying style is also the main reason I believe the book is AI-generated and I would bet on this 25 to 1. There isn't even an "About the Author" section in the book. I should have inferred that the book was going to be in the terrible writing style of its amazon product page (and its reviews...). On the other hand, AIs are decently good at creating extremely basic summaries of the information anyone who has learned anything about a topic (in this case, brain optimisation) knows already, so I suppose it is kind of a legit book for someone who knows absolutely nothing about it; it would probably point them in some decent directions. But again, it's really annoying to read, and it would probably turn off the highly uninformed target audience in minutes. I am giving it one star because that's all it is: the literary equivalent of a one-star hotel, better than sleeping on the street. I returned the book, it's not worth the weight of keeping it in my belongings.

The first time I read this book, I had borrowed it from a friend. However, it was so good that I knew I just had to have my own copy. This book is one of those that you don't realize how much you need until you start reading it. Nowadays, most things are structured in a way that can turn your brain to mush. Having a super repetitive lifestyle can also contribute to this. This book is a wake-up call and reading and learning from it has opened my eyes to the slight but consistent brain degeneration that has been happening to me and a lot of other people in this society. I will definitely be checking out more of this author's work.

the most stupid paper I ever come accross in my life. completely empty of any meaningful content. it pretty much just says that brain’s function is that of thinking, which we clearky would have never known otherwise), and the magic 5 pillars are : eating well, exercise, sleep well, manage stress and make good social connection, each of them mentioned to the very minimum. I do not think anyone exists able to appreciate this book not knowing this common sense already. Prior reviews are clearly fake, i was skeptic of them as none commented on the content of the book , but only on the title, and i can confirm now no human being may read this book and think ot it any good. Senctences are meaningless they do not even seem written from a person, I do not disagree from the only other negative review so far that suggest the book is written from AI, and I may add : a very poor AI.

Patrik Meyer is a literary magician, his extensive efforts to bring the best information to his readers are commendable. I've been reading his works for so long now and one thing is sure, his conviction to guide all age groups alike is gracious. This book discovers our brain and how wonderful this organ is.
