Overall for the price this is a neat little car. It is easy to use and my 6-year-old enjoys playing with it. There is even an option to program a set of functions and the car then does what you program. The only problem I have is that the hand gesture strap will not power on and does not work. I was really looking forward to trying that part out.

This is a perfect gift for boys , they love cars and yes you can actually control it with your hands

We bought 4 of these for all the boys for Christmas. Each of them used different control options and loved them. The cars do have a little trouble with true off road running, but they are better than expected for the price.

The media could not be loaded. This little RC car is actually a lot of fun - I would definitely say that it is age appropriate. It recommended for ages 8-12, but I enjoyed zooming it around, so I would say the sky is the limit.There is a hand controller that will change direction of the car, accelerates and decelerates - which adds a nice level of enjoyment. The car itself comes with the USB-A charger, two batteries, hand controller and the RC controller. I was really glad to see that it included two batteries. The RC controller itself takes 2 "AA" batteries which are not included, the motion wrist controller takes a CR2032 battery which luckily is included.The vehicle seems to be pretty decently built so it will take plenty of abuse. I think this vehicle would be on par with several other RC vehicles that are found around this price point - for the $$, I think you would enjoy this one.My grading scale:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park, PERFECT BUY!4 Stars = Excellent find, you should definitely give it a shot.3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised.2 Stars = A little scary, but do your research and it may work out.1 Stars = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.All of my reviews are based on actual use of the product. The lights on front look like eyes and are good and bright we have been playing with it and having a great time. Very cold, but when it's warm Mimi can use the remote from lawn chair and grandson has been very excited for it to get warmer. It's been only 19° with a windchill that brings it down to a very cold day and neg. at night. The tires light up and we play in the house right now, but it's made to bend up and back down and forward/back and slow or fast speed. We've run it into the walls a few times cause Mimi (me) and the kiddo are both pretty clutzy but this thing is made for it and is still going strong. We love it. Good price for a good product especially the cool light features. 💯 👍
