The Bird King: An Artist's Notebook

Although I should've realized by the name of the book I still thought this was a follow-up to the previous The Bird King book that came 2 years ago (why would they release the same book again?). But yes, this book is exactly the same as the previous one and I now own 2 ex of it.Differences between the both books is that this version has glossy paper while the 2011 edition have matte paper, I know that some people prefer one over the other. I do have to say that I prefer the new cover over the old one, so it's not that bad to own both editions.Great sketches and a wonderful inspiration book for Shaun Tan-fans like me.

I love Shaun Tans illustrations and this book is full of inspiration and will hopefully set me on the road to creating my own characters.

Good
