Works well
These work really well for moderate compression. We measured the leg in question before ordering and that made things so easy. The size was perfect and it was fairly easy to put it on. Bought for a total knee replacement post surgery to help with swelling and stability. Found them quite effective.

Works well
It helped with the compression to keep the leg from swelling due to surgery and manipulation. I can't go a day without it now. Great value, good support and it actually stays up on the thigh compared to some others that I have bought. Very durable.

Top quality product
Size: Follow the size chart and you will get the correct size. These are superior on quality and look of the ones provided by t he hospital postoperative unit.Fantastic item at a great price. They stand up the machine delicate washing fine [use a lingerie bag for best results]. One one they do not slip down. Had to put socks over them to do herl slide exercises. Durability appears to be superior to brand hospital used. Seem to control swelling and aid in circulation as advertised.

Elastic Does Not Cut Into Leg
These don’t cut into the thigh because of the wide band which makes them more comfortable. They are also available in a variety of sizes.

These are AMAZING!
I just had a knee replacement 8 days ago and the TED hose issued with my release from the hospital were absolutely horrible, hot, itchy, ripped nearly immediately, constantly rolled down, and in my opinion, a little bit too tight, as I often had numb toes, but when I decided to buy these I was skeptical because it was my first experience with Ted hose at all anyway. After getting these out of the package, I already knew they were going to be better by the feel. Putting them on was a little difficult as Ted hose are, (especially for us bigger girls) but they were extremely easy to pull up, not too tight, not itchy at all, very smooth, and totally have little silicone grips that keep them from rolling down at the top, which if I had to pick something to complain about, and I really wouldn't want to, it would be that the little grippies might get a little itchy sometimes, LOL love these things! I'm totally buying another pair for my next knee cuz, it needs to get done too.

Poor Elasticity and Quality
My wife is providing this review. My doctor advised I wear thigh-high compression stockings. As a Registered Nurse I specifically looked for “T.E.D.” hose as that’s the type routinely used with patients I’ve cared for in the hospital. I originally purchased “Doc Miller TED Hose Thigh High Anti Embolism Stockings” (white, 15-20mm Hg) and am very pleased w/their fit and comfort. Been wearing them for weeks. However, I wanted a black pair to wear with my dark slacks. Being pleased with my first Doc Miller purchase, I decided to try their “Thigh-High Open Toed Compression Stockings” (black, 15-20 mm Hg). HORRIBLE purchase! After ONE wearing, the stockings would NOT stay up. I was constantly tugging them up as they slid down my leg (and I got the correct size). Now this pair is totally useless. Am very unhappy w/their poor quality considering these stockings were far more expensive than my white pair.Would NOT recommend these open-toed stockings.
