Incredible Value!
This motherboard is an incredibly great value for the price. I've been building PC's since the late 90's and I can't remember ever buying a board with this much IO for this little price. The 8 SATA ports is what initially sold me. I have a home server that I was upgrading with a bunch of HDD's, so I needed those extra SATA ports. You also get the 4 x NVMe slots, for a grand total of 12 hard drive ports. That's awesome for 130 bucks!! I couldn't find another consumer grade motherboard with that many at this price point. You also get a bunch of fan headers, RGB headers (I don't use RGB, but still nice), 2.5gb LAN, WiFi 6, USB Type-C, Built in RGB behind the main chipset heatsink (you can turn it off in the bios) - It goes on and on with this board. Insane feature set for a full ATX board at this price.I bought this board back in January 2025 and I've had mine running for a couple of months now with a i5-14400F/32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000 and it's been super rock solid. No issues at all. I've got 7 SATA ports being used and 2 of the NVMe slots being used as well and everything is smokin' fast! I have a new respect for ASRock. I've purchased a few of their MB's for different budget builds over the years, but I always thought of them as a cheaper (as in quality) brand, but I have since changed my mind and I would put them up there with ASUS.Great Motherboard! Highly recommended!

Great for the price
Worked as expectedBuilt gaming pc for friend's son using this one and had no issues with it. I've used MSI, gigabyte, and Asus prime boards in my many gaming builds and this one is probably my favorite for the money. Asus prime is the least of my favorites.. board being too thin but all of them have functioned well. Had issues with MSI compatibility with Windows 10 but this one had no issues with 10 or 11 and I used an older generation processor the 12th gen over clockedSettings in bios are pretty nice too.Flashing new bios for the update to fix gen 13&14 CPUs was easy to do as well even though I used a 12th gen I did it anyway in case he decided to upgrade his processor to a newer gen CPUCan definitely recommend this motherboard

ASRock wins
Was part of a gift for my son on his desktop build. Bios did not need updating, which was a win. Installing windows was a breeze. He loves the PCH heatsink LEDs, they even run while the computer is "shutdown". The MB provides everything he needed for his first build with room for expansion or upgrading.Very happy with ASRock.Upon start up it didn't need wifi drivers to connect to the internet wirelessly, which made it sooo much easier. Boot time is great, we did not opt to overclock as in many instances the computer will run a timing session to optimize and it leads to longer than normal boot times. We opted for "auto clocking" and it works great! No complaints, as this is our first ASRock MB.

One m.2 slot DOA on two boards, otherwise great!
This board is honestly a perfect 5 if it works. I bought 3, and 2 had one DOA m.2 slot (the one with a heat sink sadly, which is a HUGE pain to get to once the GPU and CPU cooler are installed, even more sadly.)Otherwise, the plugs and ports are very well thought out for where case and PSU things will plug. Honestly one of the best motherboards I've worked with ... When everything works. And I get it, I've built dozens (hundreds maybe) of PCs over the years, and sometimes stuff does come DOA, but I'm always removing a star for it. My 5-star expectation is that the product works. If you can't test all the ports before shipping the product then it's not a 5-star review to me. For me it was an annoying half hour, but for a new builder who isn't so sure where to look? This could ruin someone's weekend quickly. So buy this board, yes. Buy it above most others as the value is incredible. But do so knowing that you could deal with some nonsense. If I'm building Z790 systems (or any LGA1700 systems really), I will try to buy this board exclusively if I can still. But yeah, DOA slots, not a great look. Also, just handy hint - ASRock RGB software is the worst hot garbage in the world, so if you're not using a 3rd party controller from Lian Li or NZXT or whoever, definitely download OpenRGB. Works perfectly with ASRock boards and will save you a lot of pain :)

Excellent for the price
I had 2 Asus mobos go out last year. I replaced one with a Gigabyte board, and one with this AsRock board. This board works well and with the water cooler runs nice and cold.
