Very heavy, beautiful board!

It is heavy. Made from very nice stone and perfectly matched squares, nicely centered and honed to a glossy shine.I thought the board came with a carrying case, but I may have confused it with another chessboard I saw. So, either buy a case to keep it or keep the original packaging to store it away.One suggestion is to measure your chess pieces. I bought a “ghostly” chess set to entice my grandson into playing. As you can see by the pictures, the pieces are nice, but they barely fit the squares.In any case, it’s a great board. Highly recommend.

Hi,The board is nice and the selenite crystals are perfect. One of the towers look like it was shattered and put back together, but we'll see. If It starts to crumble I will be asking for a replacement.Over all... I like, I like👍.

This is beautiful! It's heavy and the quality is great! I've searched for months for the perfect board for my very large chess pieces. Unfortunately this was not it. Although the board is large, the squares are average-sized. I bought the coral and red board and would definitely recommend it to anyone that needs a standard-sized board.

Beautiful chess board and pieces! We loved our new set so much we ordered checkers as well. A few of the pieces had tiny chips from the natural features of the marble, so I contacted them because the little card we received with our items said to do so if there were any issues. They promptly got back to me and provided us with an entire second set of replacement checkers at no cost. Every piece of the new set had no issues whatsoever. Our family is very happy with the service and beautiful craftsmanship of all items ordered. Highly recommend this company! Spike the rescue finch approves as well!

I had been wanting a marble chess board for years, mostly because my previous board was falling apart, but also because nothing beats a solid piece of stone for playing chess. I have a pretty unique chess set with meticulously hand painted skeleton figures; this board really makes those pieces pop, and together they are the perfect match. The board is thick, heavy, and features all the normal cracks and color variations you would expect in a quality slab of marble. While spending close to $100 on a chess board may seem like an extravagance, it's worth every penny if you are serious about your chess set.
