Really great, thoughtful design. Parts are packaged well and labeled with easy to remove stickers so it’s easy to assemble. Screws even have thread lock on them to keep them tight and there are screw hole covers. Kit includes a handy hex head tool to install the screws. Directions also talk about how to keep the teak looking good. This small one fit perfectly in our space constrained shower. I’m very pleased with the design and sturdy construction.

I bought this for my mother who needed to sit in the shower. She refused to have an ugly metal seat, so I got this one. She was very happy. It was easy to assemble and looked beautiful. It functioned perfectly as a stool, and it sturdy. However check the dimensions. It’s shorter than the metal ones.

Bought for gift for husband- we are young-ish, fit, healthy people and he loves it! I am not the best at putting things together, but I put this together myself and it was actually kind of fun. He loves a hot steamy shower and especially sometimes likes to sit down and relax, so now he doesn’t have to sit on the floor.Yes some reviews say it is small, it is a little smaller, but he’s 6’2” 215 lbs and it’s comfortable for him and it fits very nicely in our standard size shower. And when we don’t want to use it in the shower, it’s a nice cute little stool to put in the bathroom.So far it is holding up really well getting wet and drying quickly.All that said, this might not be the right choice for an older person or someone that needs the support of a shower chair like a medical shower chair. This has no back rest- something to consider.

I had to replace the stool in my shower and didn’t want to get another plastic one. I saw this and thought I would give it a try. I just love this item! It’s the perfect size for shaving my legs. It is strong enough to hold my weight if I need to sit to take a shower, it’s more compact than the hospital plastic ones, and it looks like a beautiful piece of furniture. There haven’t been any issues with it getting wet. I haven’t even seen any watermarks. It’s also easy to assemble.

I haven't been this impressed by an Amazon product in a very long time. Yes this stool is a bit small but its actually just about perfect. I could have maybe gone with the 18 inch size but I wasn't sure the base of the legs would fit in my bathtub/ shower because it starts to curve up at 16 inches so this smaller size is very good even though i wish it were just a hair taller and wider it does fit much better unlike my last shower chair. It feels very sturdy and I appreciate that all the screws have caps to go on them and face inwards to reduce water infiltration. The wood is thick and clearly real (hopefully actually teak) wood. It fits so well in my tiny bathroom that I decided against exchanging it for a larger size. It comes with a 5 year warranty! Which is amazing. It seems like it should hold up well and common sense you should obviously be taking it out of your shower and drying it off after each use it is very light so easy to do so. It says you should clean and oil it every 6 months which is standard for wood used in damp environments. The factory oil coating is very good and has a pleasant smell.

Very happy with this purchase. It was a little expensive, but I think it will be worth it in the long run. It was easy to assemble and seems very sturdy. I bought it to use when shaving my legs in the shower. It’s a great height to put my foot on when shaving. I used it for the first time today, and it was perfect. It looks nice, too.This is my first review. I purchase a lot of items on Amazon, but I haven’t been so impressed with an item until now.

This is a premium item, beautifully packaged and easy (enjoyable, even!) to assemble. It's a rich, lovely wood. Very sturdy. We use it to hold bottles in the shower, and it enriches our shower experience greatly. Highly recommended!
