I've used this for two weeks and really value it. The screen is sharp and bright and provides, as intended, an extra workspace. At home, I'm spoiled with a three monitor setup - on the move, having only 1 is like camping; this product solves that with no extra desk space needed. I've used a couple of other external monitor setups, but this one is, by far, the best. It has a magnetic snap on slide attachment which requires very little setup each time you use it. It slides out and hangs from the side of the laptop without using any desk space. Software setup was a breeze (with the included pictographic instruction card). I tried this on both a Win7 and a Win10 (x64) setup and no problems on either OS. It is pricier than some external monitor setups, but with the slide mechanism, it pays for itself in no frustration after 2 trips.Edit: Recently tried a cheaper version of an extra monitor. It was like driving a broke-down Lada after owning a Benz. I've had this for over 2 years now with no issues. Buy the Benz. You won't regret it.

I bought this extra “monitor” for working remotely and traveling during the pandemic. I’ll be honest, this is my second Duex, the first had a software issue, but this one worked perfectly. It’s relatively easy to set up and good quality. It’s also a crowd pleaser as it looks very unique. The added functionality to have this as either an attached monitor on your laptop, or a standalone on a desk is very convenient. All in all a very cool and useful product. It does make your laptop a little bulky, and the extra weight is noticeable but works great for both a 13 inch MacBook and a 17 inch Thinkpad. A little bulky on the Mac but not unruly. The hardest thing is lining up the magnets. When doing so slightly overcompensate to allow more of the Duex to comfortably sit past the right edge of the laptop screen. It needs to be able to be turned towards you.

I needed a second screen and this portable one is easy to instal and attach to my laptop. Great quality, no complaints. I really like it!
