Revlon Colorstay Longwear Permanent Cream Colour

I have been getting my hair done at a salon for a number of years but the price is so high these days at a salon and I couldn’t justify over 100 pounds every 6 weeks, especially when I have dark nearly black hair! This product was amazing, it covered any greys and my roots and I refreshed the ends! No breakage or damage, my hair is so soft, even colour and I do have a lot of hair and only needed two boxes! Amazing, I will be using this product from now on and probably saving a fortune also :)

Very good and excellent product , the colour stay longer but the cream should have been more than one sachet

This is the first box colour I have used that produces the exact colour on the box - I have very light blonde hair that only needs a touch-up on the front as an unwanted natural strawberry blonde pigment grows through. While all other brands leave this area looking no different - sometimes even exaggerating the 'orange/yellow' pigment - this brand covered it completely. So pleased. Small word of warning: I followed the instructions to the letter but as my hair takes colour really easily, I won't leave it on so long next time as a couple of small areas had a high concentration of colour, bordering on a slight purple when dry, although the excess colour washed out easily with the next wash so not a problem really.

Works really well, fast colouring! Left it on for the full 30 mins but I don't think it needed that long. Cool chocolate is what I ordered but it dyed my hair darker! In some light it looks almost black! *Great if you want Dark brown. Comfortable on the scalp unlike some dyes that make me itch or sting, this one was no problem. Fresh smelling hair. Feels and looks healthy! Will buy again but I might get a lighter shade knowing it goes dark! My hair was a faded reddish brown before with natural growth, mousey brown and grey roots, it has covered All of that brilliantly! My hair length is medium just past shoulder length hair and I bought two boxes, I used a bottle and a half, this goes quite far unlike some dyes. For the price I'm quite impressed! Just a little darker than expected. Hoping after a wash or two the colour will tone down a shade to what it shows on the box. Would recommend this brand. Very impressed as I usually use other common box dye brands, this didn't disappoint on quality. Definitely worth the bargain price!

Pros: Excellent coverage, especially greys; gives a deep rich colour; no strong smell and didnt irritate my sensitive scalpCons: it's very dark, it's supposed to be a 4 but it's more of a 2, it's almost black which isn't what I wanted and doesn't match the colour on the box; you'll need 2 boxes for anything longer than a bob; the undertone is purple; dried my hair outMy hair before was a cool light brown with no patchiness, it's now almost black with purple, I really dislike the colour and wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an actual 4 brown - for a darker brown it's excellent, not patchy and covers well

I love this colour my hair is in great condition using it. I have dark mousy hair naturally and I'm now going grey .. which it covers well. I just apply to the roots and it gives me a multitonal look when the ends are a little lighter when I have been the sun.. recommend this technique. It also comes with a shampoo colour sachet to put through your hair such as on holiday when your hair bleaches faster after a couple of weeks in.

The best hair dye I have ever bought no mess nothing it even has a cream mask to leave on your hair for ten minutes I would absolutely recommend this hair product it’s the best my hair is so soft shiny and natural looking

Natural hair color dark brown but bleached blonde for years. I have a constant battle with orange or brassy tones and had been using a light ash blonde but hair looked really dull. Tried this medium beige blonde for a change and I LOVE it!! My hair is a sort of light teddy bear brown with a slight gold tone. I have resistant greys which this covered completely and almost 4 weeks on not even a hint of grey peeking through. Very impressed. Easy to apply and very good price. I've tried zillions of others but will definitely be sticking with this one.
