The quality and ergonomics are very good. It's not just for seniors, it's for anyone who likes to do this thankless job easier, without bending and stretching. Makes a fine gift. Only critique I have is the case it comes in. The individual pieces in the kit are rather firmly embedded in foam and a bit difficult to extract.

It cuts effortlessly through thick nails. Best clippers I have ever owned. I will buy again especially after my kids use them and loose them.

These are definitely high quality and super strong. The problem I having is that they seem so powerful that they are a little scary - I am always afraid of clipping the skin off the tip of my finger. So they are what they are, but just be careful with them. I find myself going back to my thinner cheaper clippers.

this set is great for cutting nails. Nice that it is a n angled and straight cut set. Getting older and nails are getting thick.
