Fight Back: Moving from Deliverance to Dominion

Excellent book! I recommend every believer who wants to walk in power , and exersize his/her dominion should read it. "We are not fighting for victory, but from the side of Victory". As you go deeper reading , it keeps getting better. The end is powerful as we talk of the cross of Jesus. If you have read "Break free" from the author, then this is a must! Simple, powerful and hidden gems and lots of notes ! Just go for it!

It's an amazing book! I recommend this book to everyone who wants to execute their God given authority in their lives......if you want to grow more in the Spirit....you must read it!Spoiler alert: I've never known such a powerful insight existed in the story of Esther...i was blessed..I thank God for pastor Vlad.

FIGHT BACKPastor Vladimir Savchuk’s latest book Fight Back is refreshingly different from other books on spiritual warfare. While there are many books that focus on the strategies of Satan, his wiles and his schemes in trapping and tempting believers, this book focuses on how believers ought to fight the devil! Peppered with real life stories and Biblical illustrations, the book is very practical and insightful. It is written lucidly and even though it is rich in doctrine it does not smack of theology. Its teaching is simple but sound, calling for living a victorious Christian life as a soldier not by passive defense but by active resistance and attack on the dominion of darkness through the weapons of warfare provided to every Christian. One important aspect of the book is that it emphasizes the fact that authority is vested in all Christians to fight back and win their individual as well as congregational battles in the spiritual realm. The book provides the much needed encouragement during this pandemic for believers to live in victory over every fear and anxiety. As the title indicates, it takes the attack into the kingdom of darkness through the authority vested in the servants of God.The theme of the book is dominion. Pastor Vlad opines that believers must seek not merely deliverance from sickness, addiction, fears and bad habits be they generational or not, they must seek dominion over all these things. While they receive deliverance, their call is for dominion. Man’s mandate from the beginning of his creation was dominion, Pastor Vlad argues, quoting Gen1:28: Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” This dominion, he shows, was lost with the Fall but regained and redeemed by Christ’s death and resurrection. Thus because of Jesus’ victory over Satan on the Cross, the believer has received authority to fight from a position of victory.The central teaching of the book is taken from the story of Queen Esther and the Jews’ victory over their foe, Haman. Pastor Vlad makes this story an object lesson for spiritual warfare. His analogy of Haman with Satan and Queen Esther with the position and authority vested in every believer is not only pertinent but doctrinally sound. Through the application of lessons from the Book of Esther, Pastor Vlad reveals important truths that help the believer not only know his enemy but also his identity and authority in Christ. For example, he likens Haman’s access to the palace of Susha to the Devil’s access to a believer’s life through sin. But he also points out while Haman had access, Queen Esther had the authority. Similarly, the Devil may have access to a believer’s life but he does not control the believer or have ownership of him. In other words as he succinctly puts it, “Authority trumps Access”. Besides he also points out that while Esther used only the weapon of fasting, believers have “more powerful spiritual weapons to use which are mighty in God, such as fervent prayer and fasting, using the name of Jesus, knowing and declaring the Word of God, and claiming the blood of Jesus”.Apart from that he enunciates certain foundational principals that are a prerequisite for warfare. These basics of spiritual preparation include removing bitterness and forgiveness or anything that gives the devil a foothold in our life, recognizing one’s authority in Christ and realizing that we are fighting a defeated foe, renewing and filling your mind with God’s Word, putting on the robe of righteousness of Christ, meditating and memorizing His Word, remembering what God has done in the past, worshipping God in every situation, instead of complaining etc. These principles are delineated with supporting scriptures and biblical examples that clarify each of the above principles.What I like about the book is the pithy and epigrammatic statements of Biblical truths which proliferate in the book. These remain in the memory long after you have read them and remind one of constant spiritual warfare that a Christian is engaged in. Here is a selection:1. “Bondage makes you a slave; battle makes you a soldier”.2. “…the Lord’s name is . . . like our spiritual password in prayer”.3. “Complaining prolongs your spiritual wilderness; confessing God’s Word shrinks it”4. “God doesn’t want to be a means to a goal, even if that goal is deliverance. God wants to be your goal”5. “Complaining is to the devil what worship is to God”. Fight Back is thus a must read for every Christian who wants to live a full life as a victor.

It wasn't until I put my eyes on this book that I knew I had to stand my ground in Jesus’ name.Whether you're considering deliverance or have already experienced it, this book is essential to understanding spiritual warfare.From the first chapter, my thinking was enlarged, unveiling new truths. The author emphasizes that deliverance is just the beginning, and the real goal is to have dominion. I've been empowered to fight back through biblical examples and real-life stories, plus Psalm 144:1 has come alive in my life.I could feel the author poured his whole heart into writing this book. Also, the study guide is a valuable tool to enhance further the knowledge acquired.This book, written by the head pastor of a spirit-filled church, Hungry Generation, carries a divine anointing. After a beloved family member finished reading it, I was asked to witness a prayer of surrender to God. And then to baptize him, which I gladly did in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—all praise and glory to God for the transformation brought about by this book.

I just received it today and started reading it and so far its wonderful amd every believer should have this in their arsenal to fight evil.
