The Mezcla Matcha Bar has a unique flavor with a nice balance of earthy matcha and subtle sweetness. The texture is pleasantly crunchy yet chewy, making it a satisfying snack. It’s packed with plant-based protein and clean ingredients, which is a plus, but at $3 per bar, it feels a bit pricey for the size.

Crispy, crunchy, sweet, with just a warm touch of hot pepper. It was the easiest 10 grams of protein I ever ate :)

Love these but we earned it has a bit of a kick not sure if they have a smidge of cayenne (which I don’t mind nectar it’s very good for you) I threw out the wrapper and was not expecting a kick so not sure but I planned to share with baby so taste it first before sharing with children.

Love these, especially this flavor, and I’ve tried them all. I am big on texture so the crunchiness of these are desirable compared to other bars. But I will say that these eat more like a candy bar than a protein bar - delicious, not too sweet, chocolate undertones, and crunchy. I feel a little guilty eating them when most protein bars have weird tastes or are difficult to get down! This product proves you can get protein and enjoy it. Nice product.

I tried the hazelnut chocolate Mezcla bar. I didn't finish it.To sum: eww.Cloying smell like artificial butterscotch but no such flavor. No discernable chocolate flavor. No discernable hazelnut flavor. Tastes of coffee-flavored candy + protein powder + cardboard. Crunchy but unpleasant chalky mouthfeel. Aftertaste reminiscent of lick & stick postage stamps.

Love this protein bar! Doesn’t have a fake protein taste and is almost like a lower sugar rice crispy treat! Definitely recommend.

I recently tried the Mezcla Puff-Crispy Protein Bar in the Pistachio Chocolate flavor and had mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, I appreciate that it’s vegan, gluten-free, and made with plant-based protein, which aligns well with my dietary preferences. The bar has an interesting texture with a nice crunch and a subtle chocolatey finish.However, I found the pistachio flavor to be quite faint, almost overshadowed by the chocolate, and the overall taste was a bit too sweet for my liking. The bar also felt a bit dry, which made it less enjoyable as a quick snack. While it’s a decent option for those looking for a healthier plant-based protein boost, I think there’s room for improvement in both flavor balance and texture. I might try other flavors, but this one didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
