This stuff is really good.
Used for all of my vehicles after repairing body and frame rust (get the extension kit to reach all of the interior areas). Three quick coats, as 3m prescribes, provides long lasting protection.

Quality to preserve iron
I use this 3M spray to preserve iron. I go metal detecting as a hobby and dig many rusty iron artifacts and relics. I clean the iron with a drill and wire wheel. Afterwards I use 2-3 coats of the 3M spray to preserve the item. Works fine for rusty iron. I’m sure this spray will work wonders on steel.

Awesome stuff, not just for cavities either.
Sprays thin and works into crevices, sets up to a nice wax that does not harden or flake off. I recommend two coats a few hours apart. Works good as a surface protectant as well, stays translucent so you can see whats going on underneath it.A tip for applying: Spray it when the product is warm. Fill your sink with hot water (or boil a pan of water) and put the can in there to warm up the product. It lays down much smoother and evenly when warm.

Sprayed truck bed walls with it. Slowed the moisture down as it was purchased for. Recommended

It’s 3M
Name one product from 3M that’s not good. I’m no auto body technician but I trust that they know what they’re talking about. Hopefully this stuff holds up against the Minnesota salt. It does have a chemical smell to it. Not bad but noticeable. Read some reviews that some users don’t notice any smell but who knows what’s been up their noses. Try it.
