VerRich Silver Chain Curtain Door Fly Screens 70 x 200cm Aluminium Insect Screen for doorways

The media could not be loaded. These are great aluminium curtains to help keep the flys out. I’ve bought two recently and really pleased with the results. Light enough to walk through and even my cat can work it out! We’ve adjusted the length to just about the door sill height to make it easier to close the door.Easy to adjust length by unhooking the links you don’t want. We’ve only had them for a few weeks but well pleased. 👌Only feedback is we used two screws instead of the very long and robust hooks provided. The screws are enough to keep it in place and easy to remove at the end of the season.

This has been a god send and really keeps the bugs out, had mine up for about a year now and is still like new, easy to adjust the length of the chains and being aluminium are fairly lightweight, very easy to fit and comes with everything you need, and can be taken down and put up as needed, good value for money and good quality.

On the plus side, this is a good weight. The "chains" do stop insects as far as I can see. Fitting is very simple, you just need a couple of hooks or basic brackets fixed to a batten on the underside to give an upright "lip". The screen just slots on. Similarly you could get some aluminium "U" section and drill straight through the upright parts and enlarge the hole on one side to make a mounting bracket.On the minus side, the included hooks are a ridiculously large fitting and the actual chain is quite soft and is easily deformed so may not last as long as a £250 item.Overall, it's easy to install for the average DIY'er and works.I'm considering putting a second one up about a centimeter further in to ensure no flies can get through.

Loved the fly screen and it works a treat. I didn’t use the connection kit as it looked like it would fall off, plus no room to drill above the door. So as per photos I took a couple 22cm concrete screws and used them. They were too wide for the slot at the back of the screen so as per photo I used a sander and flattened them for a 10cm overlap with the screen. With the screws from each side very firm zero risk of it falling down if anyone tugs on it. The dog and family have no issues using it and after a few days no flies made it through after a couple weeks of loads of them. We’ll get a month a year when this is really useful. I thought the plastic type ones would not work with a dog so spent more in this. Now also easy to lift off if I ever need to. I didn’t need to shorten the chains so didn’t try that. Thanks for making this product - I think whatever you’d provided for connectors I would have made my own…

Easy to fix, and just as easy to remove and roll up when not needed. I was sceptical before buying because past attempts at a solution with mesh screens had not been ideal. However I am so impressed at the efficacy of this simple chain curtain that I have no hesitation in giving it a five star review. It is easy to adjust the length so that it clears the doorway without getting trapped in the door, because it is a pale aluminium shade it doesn’t make the kitchen dark like the black mesh screens, it is easy to go in and out because the chain is just the right weight to push aside and best of all it really keeps the flies out!! I am staggered at how amazingly effective it is. Well worth the money, I am planning on getting another for our french door.

Omg what fantastic door screens these are. I put THESE because I have had a second set I was that impressed. Rust resistant and they look great and most importantly keep out the flies and bees etc. thankyou for a product that is as good as advertised.

Excellent very good

Looks far nicer than a magnetic fly screen. Easy to install and adjust. Price is good for the quality, I have been using it for about a month and the dogs and adults find it works well. Very occasionally a couple of the chains will catch on to each other but never tangle and easy to move apart. I will buy another one for another door.
