Lures and Cures
Hello JosephFROM CUSTOMERSRuncl Topwater Frog Lures, Soft Fishing Lure Kit with Tackle Box for Bass Pike Snakehead Dogfish Musky (Pack of 5)Posted publicly as Hello JosephThe truth is that I have not had the chance to fish with these lures but if I were a fish they would look like a gourmet meal to me, They look so good that I would like to taste a piece of one. The other really great thing about these lures is that they are all different. Many times when you order lures they send you the same lure maybe in different colors but with these each lure is distinctly different than their brother. I even mistakenly called them a brother they are more like a 4th cousin who had two different fathers and no one knew who the real one was. This was one of the best purchases I ever made on Amazon. I can't wait to catch my first fresh water bass or trout with one of these. One more thing whenever you buy something on Amazon don't go to the regular Amazon website go to >>>> https://smile.amazon.com/ <<<< and pick a charity for Amazon to donate to in your name; I chose St Jude's Children's Research Hospital . Whatever you buy cost you the same amount as if you buy it on the regular website but the difference is that if you buy it on smile, Amazon donates a portion of what you're spending to the charity of your choice and they don't take the money away from you (even though I would be more than willing to pay an extra 50 cents or a dollar that they matched but they don't charge you any extra money at all, Amazon just donates a little bit of their profit to the charity of your choice. I love this charity because all the money goes to do whatever can be done for babies and young children who would otherwise have a death sentence that they don;t deserve. The parents of the children don't get billed a dime from the hospital. The hospital's rewards are giving a life back to an innocent child and you can share in that karma. You would be surprised at how that money adds up from that little choice of choosing the smile website at Amazon which only cost you a few seconds time to set up at the start . Now all my purchases automatically go there. I've only been doing this for a short time and so far Amazon has donated at bit over $13.00 to my charity. That seems like a pittance but could you imagine if everyone who made purchases on Amazon had Amazon donate $13 to a worthwhile charity. It would amount to millions. So far Amazon has donated with this program All charities have received$54,509,978.56as of May 2017Submit

WOW !!! FANTASTIC !! THEY WORK !! got more then warts with these Frogs, got a Bass.....
Just a quick edit here (5/1/18) Ordered these frogs again. I do not want to be with out them. Also I have a bad habit of fishing heavy mat with my FROGs on 20 lb braided line, I should be using 40 or 50 that I do have, but I like the extra distance I get with the 20, so sometimes I will get hung up in the pads with a fish on and break my line, that is on me, guess I am going to just have to get use to the heavy braid. As far as my Frogs go, nothing has changed since my first review below. If you Frog fish, get these. You will love them.Have you ever lost a $ 10.00 bait? Have you ever purchased the latest and greatest lure and it did not produce? I have, alot! I fish 3-5 times a week. Went out Sunday thought I would give these Frogs a toss. They work! Landed a 6 lb large mouth. I have a Strike King Frog I have been tossing for a month in the same lake, no hits.... Sunday I also tossed a Booyah Pad Crasher and hung it on a log, it's gone. I love these Frogs from RUNCL, they work and easy on the wallet. Come in a nice stop top plastic box. If I loose one of these Frogs it's no big deal. Got 5 for 13 bucks.I will purchase again, just so I have back up. The only difference I could tell between these and the high buck frogs was 1) the price 2) the RUNCL frogs don't have a cool name like THE LUNKER BUSTING PAD HOPPER.Give these babies a shot, you will not be disappointed. If my review has helped you at all, please give me a yes click, thank you

Poor quality
The frogs were not sealed. A screw was used to give each frog qeight and balance. They easily took on water. Not useful in Washington state where our frogs are brown/black. No bass were caught with this at Potholes Reservoir, a well known bass lake.

Bottom line, they work
I picked the Green frog with the orange belly for no particular reason, tied it onto a short 17lb. fluorocarbon leader, and started casting onto the mats of weeds. I got a swirl on the third cast, couldn't get it to come back.About 20 posolutely, abssitively, weed free casts later it disappeared into a big hole on the water, which turned out to be the jaws of a 4lb. largemouth, who left every piece of the "legs" entwined in the hooks.I got all sorts of warm and fuzzy straightening it up afterward. They do smell a little. No big thing. I washed mine in soap and water, then let them air dry, which reduced it. But I don't think most fish hitting frogs are that discriminating. If you are worried about the paint, use automobile soap.Next, fluorocarbon sinks. This kicked the frog off-balance when it stops, then the nose pops up a few seconds later, even with a short leader.Even though I'm fishing clear water, I think I'll go out this evening with it tied directly to my 30lb. braided line. One less knot is always a good thing. Braid floats, so the frog should come nose up quicker. The fish will tell me if the line bothers them.I recommend a Palomar knot for this connection.I could have spent far more on some Souperdooper Frogging Croaker, with a magic twanger, and Miss Piggy's endorsement, but hey, I'm happy, the fish are happy, and I've got some goodly change left over to blow on more fishing tackle.
