The OutsetWomen's Botanical Barrier Rescue Balm, 1.5 Ounce
****
This rescue balm is a calming balm in a beautiful tin!!!
Love this multi balm. I call it my "calm balm" because it calms dry, itchy skin and helps with the dryness and itchiness of psoriasis. Product comes in a pretty round tin with a blue floral motif. I carry everywhere with me in my handbag and have it handy whether I am at home or the office.

Great multi use balm!
I’m obsessed with this balm! Very moisturizing and not greasy at all. The tin is small but trust me a little goes a long way. Also works great under makeup! Doesn’t disturb my makeup at all! Definitely try it!

A rich emolient, ideal for problem areas.
This American-made, vegan balm offered by The Outset is packed with a huge array of plant-based ingredients; upon opening the lightweight tin it had arrived in (perfect for pocket or purse!), I had detected a faint yet pleasant lemon fragrance. The balm has aconsistency and appearance identical to that of a stick lip balm; it is very smooth and easy to apply and one swipe of a finger will provide an adequate amount of salve to apply to an area of skin.As I am one who rarely suffers from skin sensitivities, I cannot speak for the virtues of this product in that regard, but can see this product as being helpful in eradicating moisture deprived problem areas on the skin, such as dry patches on the elbows, knees, heels, nose, lips and so on. For example; I had applied the balm to dry areas around my brows, forehead and lower sides of my nose and felt there was a marked improvement in the texture and feel of my skin and the slight flakiness I sometimes experience had disappeared as well. Conversely; I had experienced a small breakout on one of my cheeks where my skin type is normal to oily, depending upon the season. I believe that the high oil content of this balm may have contributed to a couple of clogged pores; the ingredients may simply be too harsh for certain areas, particularly on the face. Based upon this discovery, I will proceed to utilize this product on target areas...only those such as the T-zone and other parts of my body that are prone to dryness. (Now you may have a totally different experience, but nevertheless, you may wish to be careful by testing it on sensitive areas first.)All in all; I do like this offering and its quality attibutes, but will simply employ caution as to where I utilize it, as it's not a "one size fits all" product...at least not for me.

Amazing!
Smells so good and keeps my hands moisturized in the winter. Not sure if I’d use it on my lips, it has a bit of a weird taste to me, but it’s great on dry skin!

Amazing!
Exceeded my expectations, gentle, fragrance-free balm is perfect for my sensitive skin, providing soothing relief for dryness and irritation on my lips, face, and body. I appreciate its clean, vegan, and gluten-free formula, which feels nourishing without any harsh chemicals. The 1.5 fl oz size is convenient for travel, and a little goes a long way, making it a great value. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a versatile and effective repair salve!

Does nothing to relieve my dry skin
I really wanted to like this because I like a good balm. Since I received this on May 11th, I've kept it at my desk, used it repeatedly on my hands and elbows. I have noticed no difference in my skin at all. It does absolutely nothing but leaves me a little greasy at first, then rubs off onto whatever I touch, leaving dry skin behind. It has no odor and comes out of the tub easily. I will not purchase it again and I'm pretty bummed I paid so much for it. It will end up in the garbage.

Bad rating on Yuka not a clean brand
After seeing that the product contains unhealthy ingredients, I don’t want to use it
