I liked it enough to order a second one. For not much money it is compact, pretty quiet and easy to use. The tower shape means I can find space for it on a busy desk, it's no wider than my mug coaster. The controls are very simple. It can oscillate side to side which cools more effectively.

We have 4 Igenix black mini tower fans purchased over a couple of years for adults and children bedsides. We've also taken them on caravan holidays. All 4 are working fine with no problems. The oldest fan at 2 years old has been on every night of every day. The oscillating operation is ideal for warm seasons creating a breeze head-to-feet and the wife likes the non-oscillating settings for those 'moments' when she needs it.If I'm being picky the distance of the breeze is for close-up use and is not be suitable for cooling larger rooms but we don't use it for that - although it is enough for a small box bedroom just to keep the air circulating. The oldest fan is still quiet but has only recently developed a tick on oscillation, but unless your extremely sound sensitive like my autistic son this may not bother you. I've certainly had my moneys worth and been really pleased.

i loved it - it was perfect for my box room during the heatwave at night. it didn't make too much noise so you could easily sleep with it if you're used to a bit of noise anyway and it was small to so it didn't intrude on my bedside table. the only thing i found was that it wasn't very strong in terms of the force of the breeze i guess. this was expected due to the size - i wasn't expecting gale force winds. and this was okay anyway as i had it right next to my head lol. would recommend for use when you're basically next to it, like on your desk, but on a shelf across the room, it would probably be useless :/

This is a great fab. Noise level is so low you can hardly hear it. However it keeps the area cool and is very easy to use. I brought the manual one. In fact after I got the first one I brought another for my daughter as it was so good. I would definitely recommended this fan to others. Great fan for a great price.

It's a 12" fan in height only but only 6" slot for air to blow out it's ok but thought it would of had a 12" Slot for blowing air out think it's best used for bedside table use than for in a living room of which I wanted it for otherwise a good fan its light weight and does blow nice cool air and it does look stylish in black and grey.

I bought this fan for my bedroom and it does the job perfectly. Low noise level and moves the air on sticky still nights without blowing the room apart or freezing you in the small hours. I don’t want gusty blasts or have dry eye. Light and compact with a tiny footprint. Value for me net and arrived a day early. Thank you.

This fan is brilliant! I bought this in the heatwave during the Summer. The fan sits nicely on my bedside table and I keep it on the lowest setting throughout the night. It's not completely silent but it's not noisy either. In fact, it's like having 'white noise' in the background which drowns out my partners snoring (big bonus) and also drowns out the birds chorus in the morning. Having the fan on has helped my sleep immensely as I've had no disturbed sleep since using it, and the gentle cold air helps me keep at the perfect temperature throughout the night. Highly recommend!

Overall, good value for money and small and compact so easy to fit on a shelf/bedside table. However, when thinking about where to put it, bear in mind that there is no way of changing the angle up or down so it needs to be level with you to feel the effect. There is, however, a left-to-right oscillatory mode which you can have in 2 speeds. These 2 speeds are also available in a static mode so there are 4 options in total which you select by twisting the knob on the top. It is very easy to use. I'm sure there are more powerful and quieter fans available but not for this price. Overall, it works well to provide relief overnight in the heat of the summer.
