Great little versatile speaker.
Great speakers for a room with no space or as part of your surround system. Takes a little time to run in but that makes a big difference to the sound.

Great quality, design and sound
When you unbox these speakers there is an instant wow factor. The weight, design and quality feel of these beauties is a bit special. You instantly know you have made a good purchase. It's also good that all the mounting options are integral to the design and they look great when mounted. I use Q3020i speakers for the front and these at the back for my cinema system attached to a Marrantz 1609 amplifier. The sound is truly epic!Important to point out this is a box of 2 speakers not just one as is intimated on the description.

Okay sound for compact style speakers.
I bought these as the 2nd step to replacing a Bose Acoustimass 10 speaker system I had owned for 18 years. The 1st step was replacing the sub and I have recently managed to obtain a mint used pair of these and the centre speaker. People love to bash Bose and I was expecting big things when I swapped to the Q Acoustics. I was initially disappointed. I immediately missed the Bose direct/reflect effect and the sound on the Q Acoustics seemed flat. I have since purchased a 2nd subwoofer, tinkered with the eq slightly on the Onkyo receiver and I have now adjusted to them well and enjoying the sound. These are not outstanding speakers however and with stands and 2 subs these are well into the 4 figure price bracket. But as far as compact style speakers go I am now quite happy with them. But don't believe all the hype.

1 word... Amazing
Right, so basically I had a pair of kef q100's and yea, they were brill but jeeze they were massive. The two of them took up like hald of my entire room! As I like everything to be neat I swiftly removed them and began the hunt for something... well smaller. I came accross these by accident when a local store had some "ex display" ones hanging about and I took them off their hands... When I got them home and plugged them in, I was utterly disappointed, they sounded flat and dull. As they were stuck to me now, I had to find something to make them bearable... a subwoofer. I found the subwoofer that goes with them and purchased it... i was still not inspired but just accepted it... It was then time for my break to cornwall. After my 4 day trip, I came home to hear the sweet sounds of seal's voice and brilliant bass. I had left my hifi on all the time and therefore they had run themselves in! to this day, a month after purchase they just keep getting better and better! I love them and their soundstage is so expansive you feel like you're living in seals voice box whenever you listen to him> I would totally recommend these and suggest if you don't like their sound when you get them, give them a while and they will suprise you!
