Great Power Station!
I am surprised how long these power stations last, because I had the impression that they are like a UPS for computers. The main selling point for DJI Power 1000 is how quiet it is and that reason alone is why I picked this over all the other power stations I saw on Amazon. It also has one of the highest output rating too, but I personally do NOT think I would ever draw that many watts at one time. I like that they do not force you to use their $200 100w solar panels because they are way too expensive. I end up getting something else that was cheaper and put out more power. Another thing to know is that this system is expandable, so you can triple the capacity with a Power Expansion Battery 2000. That is not all, you can add up to five of these together. Now for the bad, I HATE that you need to buy add on accessories. The first thing I needed was a DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) so I can plug in a solar panel (3 ports). The next accessories was a cable so I can plug in my 12v equipment like a refrigerator. And finally, the last time is a power dongle so I can read the data from the power station from my phone. For those 3 items, that cost an additional $110. You will need to factor in that cost when comparing with other power stations.

Perfect for Camping, Astrophotography & Starlink
This power station is a beast. I use it to run my entire astrophotography setup and Starlink while offroading and camping—no noise, no hassle. It powers everything all night, from tracking mounts to laptops and routers. Charges crazy fast and holds up great in rugged conditions. It’s a bit heavy, but for reliable off-grid power, it’s absolutely worth it.Pros:• Charges to 80% in under an hour• Runs quiet—great for night shoots• Plenty of ports, including 140W USB-C• Rock-solid build and great battery lifeCons:• Heavy (~33 lbs), not ideal for light travel• No wireless app control or monitoringRating: ★★★★★ (5/5) — Totally dependable for serious off-grid setups.

Reliable and does the job well. Well made product!
I bought this on the 2024 black Friday pre-Christmas sale (excellent price then). For the wattage it was probably the best rated in that sale price range. It has not disappointed. I don't have a drone, but I bought it for a backup battery in storms when we loose power. I have my night stand ensemble wired into a single extension plug. I unplug it from the wall and into the DJI and it powers my CPAP, clock, air mattress pump (sleep number type), and the light on the table. Hardly puts a dent in the power capacity running it for 10 to 12 hours during an outage. I've used it several times now like this and if you have a CPAP you need one of these. Also useful when I need to power something in the yard for some garden work. Just sit it on the truck tailgate and plug in whatever needs power. Great wattage rating on this unit and built like a tank. I'm very happy with mine as well as the case that is from DJI to fit this unit.

Flexible power system, but good things aren't cheap
The expansion possibilities on this unit are excellent: you can get more batteries, different connectors for solar and vehicle charging options. The display is nice, and the fans are quiet. The AC power supplies more than enough to charge e-bikes, run power tools, even a pancake air compressor. If all you want is the basic unit to supply some AC power occasionally in an emergency, this is probably overkill. There are other, cheaper options with similar storage and output. The expansion is where this system shines. You can get a 12V "cigarette lighter" charger that does 200W of charging in my vehicle at least. Or you can get the "super fast" vehicle charger that does over 1000W with a direct connection to the battery. You can add solar panels with different kinds of standard connectors, or just more batteries for storage. Some downsides: there is no connectivity to your phone without using additional "dongle" that burns one of the expansion ports. For something this expensive I think they should include connectivity. For some of the expansions you need to do a firmware update, but the firmware updater tool only works on Windows, not Mac.The only thing I'd change

Well built, decent output, but lacks a touch of function.
I actually really like the design and build quality is top-tier as expected from DJI. What I knocked a star off for is the nickel and diming they want you to do in order to get some decent functionality from it. You need the adapter to use the solar, and some ports are reserved just for DJI drone charging. While that doesn't seem like a problem, it too requires the adapter and does not work with all of their drones. Its pretty heavy, but you'd expect that from a larger output battery. It's also worth noting, its not as plug-and-play as you'd expect. I had it charging via solar and turned it on, only to find out hours later I had not charged it at all, because I didn't turn the adapter on. Small things, but notable.Overall, small gripes, and I'll definitely continue to use it.

Another fine product from DJI.
this power station is a little champ and since I own a lot of drones, I like it even more, I purchased some solar panels from another company and was able to run my 75" tv, modem, and Yamaha amplifier. for several days while getting an electrical problem sorted, so no complaints.
