Unlike water based lubricants that are often too sticky or gooey and not to mention needing multiple applications of water based lubricants because the product dries rapidly and is really your mother's personal lubricant.In addition to silicone based lubricants maintaining a silky feeling on your skin, it also moisturizes your skin. In the winter put a drop or two on your finger and you have a long lasting cold and chap resistant layer continally moisturizing and protecting your lips from the elements. Chap Stick can not claim to long lasting or moisturizing because Chap Stick is wax.Silicone based lubricants are also the perfect product to use when you are having therapuetic total body massage. You do not to make often and repeated pumps or squeezes from the bottle of silicone based lubricants because unlike water based lubricants, a few drops of silicone will do.I discovered a medical use for silicone based lubricants. I was cooking strawberry preserves earlier this year and as I was tightening one of the jar lids, the metal screw lid did not stop as I was I tightening it. All of a sudden, I had boiling hot strawberry preserves which consists of 7 cups of melted boiling granulated sugar and strawberries all over my forearms and my neck. I was unable to find a prescription bottle of burn cream so I grabbed the bottle of silicone lubricant and gently applied it to the burned areas. Within an hour all red inflamed burned areas of my skin showed no sign that there had been a burn. I've used this product for quite some time, tried other brand names and haven't found anything that compares.Pros:- A little goes a long way- No weird smell or taste- Long lasting- Extremely slippery- Comparable price to other productsCons:- Will stain some fabrics- Does require a little effort to wash off of hands- If product gets on bottle, it can slide right out of your hands

Great for anal, but pump quick working in 2 consecutive bottles :( :(

A good silicone lube is a pleasure to use to increase your pleasure. It's a must where one wants it to not easily wash off. Very slippery, just like this brand has been all along. Slightly thicker consistency than our old bottle was, which is a mixed benefit. The old was somewhat easier to dispense, and spread a bit more easily where needed, as it was of a thinner consistency. This new bottle is a bit thicker and slightly sticky/clingy feeling, and less likely to lead to one using more than really necessary. Very economical to use, if you take some care to figure out how much is really necessary, vice just squirting a bunch on. It also has a nice "feel".While I certainly would not recommend ingesting it on a regular basis, it has little to no taste. It lasts, even in water, for a long time, where water-based lubes would be removed in seconds. NOT safe to use with silicone-based toys. Latex-safe. These long-term users rate it excellent. The loss of one star would have been only a loss of a half-star if that was possible here, and is for two reasons: one, it's a bit pricey; and two, the redesigned bottle is a bit more awkward to open and close than the older one.

I have tried other lubricants, the water based lubricants always left a sticky residue and never lasted any length of time. So I tried a silicone based lubricant and it was a definite improvement! Long lasting and no sticky residue. Well, I had ran out so I was looking up some better silicone lubricants on Amazon and I ran across the ID Lube Millennium. Almost all the reviews were screaming its praises so I thought I ought to try it out. Recieved the bottle, a lot of lube. And I had to try a little on my finger. First impressions were amazing! Very, very slick with a small amount. They were not exaggerating when they said the lube lasted along time! My fingers still had the slick feeling about 40 minutes later so I had to wash them to finally get all the lube off. I haven't tried it on our "toys" yet but my understanding is that the lubricant can cause deterioration with other silicone based toys so be careful! But the product does indeed do what it is supposed to and does work great for massages and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. 16 oz. is a lot of lubrication so this bottle should last you awhile.
