Great phone for elderly
Love that it has whatsapp! Now my mum can keep in touch for free to all her relatives abroad in different countries. Now let's start at the beginning....phone was packaged nicely. Nice size and case as well. The charger was a bit awkward at first, but mum got use to it. It would take the sim card, called them up and, you have to insert sim card, switch off phone and turn on again. PERFECT!!!. VOILA! IT WORKS! Easy to set up, good ringtones, performance is fast, nuttons nice, big and clear, nice home screen , emergency contacts, perfect customer services, cannot fault this phone. I would recommend this phone to any person who is not technical with mobiles, once set up...wow! Thank you so much Michael and your team. These phones should be available in all shops.

This phone is useless
I bought this phone for my mother on August 2nd 2024 and the screen went black on 16th September 2024. This is so disappointing as I had high hopes for this phone. It was not easy to use. My mother could not make the contact list the permanent screen. It had to be the screen for only four contact images. My mother has more children, so she preferred to use the contact list, and this phone did not give that option. Now it has decided to stop working. For the price, it is not worth the time and money. I am disappointed. They only give you a 30-day warranty, which is worthless.I will not recommend this phone.

a company /product is only as good as its after care
I searched the market for a phone for seniors that had the normal Android apps potential, but had the facility of limiting these to just four, or less, 'big' buttons on the home screen, and was simple to use. It was important to limit thye number of actions required to receive a text, and to erase and to make and and receive simple phone calls, with dedicated contacts on the home page. Keeping the phone free of notifications or to vastly reduce was also an important feature, as this can be very confusing for an elderly user. In other words I was looking for a 'clean' phone which kept frustration to a minimum.I plumped for Easyphone.Everything went well, my wife picked it up really quickly, and she was able to be part of family communications again and was gaining in confidence over the last couple of months. However, yesterday, things went wrong. instead of the dedicated home screen coming on, the phone defaulted to the normal Android home page and confidence then plummeting.I rang the customer service freephone number at 9.00 am and was answered at once by alovely lady who said someone would ring me back as soon as possible. Ten minutes later the call came from Michael the fouunder of the company who listened to the fault symptoms. Said he would ring back which he did in 30 mins and talked me through re4instating the dedicated home screen. Five mins later job done and a satisfied customer and a very happy wife. Thank you to all at Easyphone. If A company is only as good as its customer care, then this is a very good company., and I can reccomend with confidence.Russell Dick

NO GOOD
Bought this for Mum to join the 21st century, as it is NOT easy to use.....not responsive in operating, there's a huge delay, if it works, with WhatsApp and other functions. Absolutely no good for dinosaurs or even someone who can operate mobiles..Steve the son

May be ideal for some but could have been better.
Bought this for my mother 6 months ago. It has up to four picture contacts, which is handy if you only need 4 main contacts.. However, when you open the phone by pressing the side button you have to swipe up to get to the four contacts rather than the phone opening on those contacts, its just another layer of confusion for someone with severe memory impairment. The phone will open on the last page / app used rather than re-setting to the picture call page, which could also cause problems for some who struggle with phones. Then there were the notifications which endlessly came up over the contacts, surely those should be switched off by default? We did manage to switch them off eventually in the settings. Then there's the WhatsApp app that looks like a call button under the contacts pictures, its another confusion that takes you to WhatsApp, and it can not be removed if you dont use the app, otherwise it could be a good feature for those that do.If one has a basic ability on how to use smartphones then this phone, once set up is easy to use, however for someone with more severe dementia it may be problematic, but then I could not find anything any better. A few tweaks and this phone could have been excellent,I would have liked a fully customisable home page with options for more picture contacts which opens via a tap on the screen, then it would have had 5 stars

Fantastic customer service
I had a problem with the first phone. I was impressed to be contacted by the C.O.E. and founder of the company who took ownership of the situation and I received a resolution the next day. I would highly recommend Easyphone to family and friends.

Pray it stays OK
The phone was bought for an elderly relative, not really easy to use until they practice. However after 6 months screen went blank and despite all efforts it stays this way. Then when contacted during warranty period all you get a return address that will not accept the phone at weekends and you pay for the postage yourself!
