Smoothness and firm
I already have one of these reels given to me by my daughter a few years ago and absolutely love it!!!!So I wanted to add another and bought this one. Obviously they changed a few things for cutting cost like the brake know is black vs chrome like the previous one. Also the lever below the spool which allows the reel to move freely forward or reverse, was eliminated!!!! No biggie but it was not mentioned on the description on the Amazon site!!Other than that it's still snowing amazing smooth action reel!!!

This Shimano is very nice very smooth I'm very happy with the pricing very happy with the quick turnaround it showed up very quickly at my house which was not critical however seems to be very smooth. Efficient and a good looking Shimano 4000 thank you ..

So far so good
Cast smooth retrieves easy i use it in fress water only for bass so far biggest ive pulled in is 6 lbs and it did really easy. So. So far so good
