LG TV Compatible Remote
This LG compatible TV remote works great with my 8 year old TV. My original remote stopped working, yet the TV was still ok. This new remote was very similar in design to my old remote. No set up was needed except to turn on my TV with my old remote first, luckily it could still do that, but none of the other commands worked and there wasn’t any buttons on my TV to use it manually. This new remote saved me from buying a new TV and automatically worked with my TV after it was initially switched on with my old remote. Highly recommended

It is limited with regard to the distance, you have to be really close to the TV for it to work properly.

Purchased this remote control on the 13/9/2024 which as of today no longer works!! Attempted to contact the seller and I am continually logged out of the Amazon APP?!!! I did read the reviews before purchasing which were mixed (more bad reviews than good) however I wanted to give this seller’s product the benefit of the doubt which I now very much regret. The item is not exceptionally expensive but I would expect the item to at least last for more than a few weeks!!! It is your prerogative if you wish to purchase but it is a huge risk from my personal experience.

Has a mind of its own
This worked OK for a few days, then found the T.V was turning on randomly by itself, if left on standby. Time-lapse too when pressing some buttons in the smart T.V. I will be switching back to the old L.G remote which is not fully functional but vetter than this replacement. I have wasted my money.

Did the job!
I bought a second hand tv and was disappointed to find that the remote didn’t work as it should - but I found this one and it works perfectly so am extremely happy that I didn’t waste my money buying a second hand tv! Hubby would have had a fit but luckily he didn’t know!!
