I'm using these on a build of a 1957 Chevy stepside truck for the tailgate to open up like a door. They are quality hinges and they are going to work perfectly. Ordered yesterday evening and already delivered. Getting the welder set up, woo-hoo!

These are great! I was looking for just such a product several years ago, but this kind of hardware can be hard to find. The description says 8 pieces, so let me clarify and say you get 8 complete hinges (3 parts to each hinge.) The dimensions are exactly as described. There is a little play in the hinge itself, but there needs to be to account for metal warping when you weld it. Make sure you understand that these hinges are welded on by you, so if you don't have a welder, stop right here. I can see a lot of applications: swinging gates, trailer ramps that fold up, the skies the limit. I'm going to use mine to mount the doors on my next gun safe.
