expensive, but not any better than any other acrylic spray. I thought there was some sort of magic, that the acrylic paint creeps along the surface and covers all areas which otherwise would be free of this coating... no it does not. Waste of money.

There are many electrical connections and circuit boards on a live-aboard boat and many of the connections are exposed and in the outdoor wet environment, or even indoors in the bilge area. We use both dielectric paste and dielectric spray (like this) for sealing electrical connections against corrosion and it works very well. We also use the spray for sealing electronic circuit boards that are not in a waterproof enclosure.This spray has a clear appearance almost like a clear polyurethane paint. It's very easy to apply to connections or circuit boards. They don't suggest this on the can but I recommend you let the first coat dry until barely tacky then give a second coat while making sure you get in and around all of the areas that you want protected.This spray is nice for cases that may need rework in that you can still do circuit board repairs or modifications without removing the cured spray in advance. In fact, I've also been able to do good solder joints on a board that had already been sprayed but not yet cured.I'm giving this 4 stars because it is a good quality dielectric spray in a decent size 13.5oz can for the price.My responsibility as an Amazon Vine Reviewer:Considering the Amazon rules/regulations for being a Vine Member It is obvious that it is very important to Amazon that the person doing the review has indeed inspected, tested, used the product as well as being aware of the competitive situation of the market segment. Used to coat printed circuit board to prevent corrosion in humid environment. Coated board and dried quick leaving clear silicone like seal. Will update after 3-6 months of use.

This is some good clear insulation coating, it does a good job, nice coverage and dries quick, I like that is clear so I can still see the condition of the work, very good stuff.
