Reliable stopping power and great value!
I grabbed these AGPTEK disc brake pads as a replacement set for my mountain bike, and after riding with them for a few weeks, I’m seriously impressed. You get four pairs in the pack, making it fantastic value — especially for anyone who rides regularly or maintains multiple bikes.Out of the box, the pads are neatly packed and clearly labelled. They feel solid, well-made, and the fit is perfect for my Shimano-compatible callipers. The included springs are a nice touch, and everything slotted in smoothly without any need for adjustment.Performance has been excellent. After a short bedding-in period, the pads deliver strong, consistent stopping power — even on long descents and in wet, gritty conditions. I’ve taken the bike through muddy trails, light rain and dry tarmac, and braking has stayed predictable and sharp throughout. There’s a nice, progressive feel at the lever too — not grabby or harsh, which gives you plenty of control, especially during technical off-road riding. I’ve not experienced any squealing either, which is more than I can say for some previous pads I’ve used.Wear rate appears to be very reasonable. After a couple hundred kilometres, they’re holding up well with no excessive wear or fade, which bodes well for long-term value. One minor point — there’s no fancy branding or packaging here, but honestly, I’d rather pay for performance than flashy boxes. These do the job perfectly and cost a fraction of some high-end alternatives.Highly recommended for MTB, commuter, or hybrid cyclists looking for reliable, long-lasting and budget-friendly brake pads.

Worth the money
Appear good quality. Fit is perfect. Have bedded them in and performance seems ok at moment. Time will tell how they last after a few uses.

The pads are rad!
Excellent pads. My brakes when from squealing like David Cameron's raunchy rent a pig, to sneaking silently like Jimmy Saville into the mortuary for a night of cold passion. Highly recommend.

Bite Well, Good Stopping Power.
I bought these pads because they were affordable and figured they couldn’t be worse than the worn-out ones on my bike. I was pleasantly surprised! They feel well-made and provide good braking power right from the first use. I’m impressed and have already bought a spare set. Great value for the price.

Great value pads
Bought to service a gravel bike equipped with Tektro cable actuated disc brakes. Appears to be decent quality and handy to have a spare set for future use.

Replace Decode R pads
Bought to replace pads on a Decode R mechanical disc brake for road bike which were getting noisy and less effective. Easy to fit, just dropped the wheels out, pushed the existing pads out towards the removed wheel and fitted the new ones front and back. The replacement pads had a plastic tie around the neck which I left in place while getting the pads in position so the spring would not open, then flipped it off before locking in position with split pin. Instructions seem to refer to screw fixing and were not that helpful. Refitted wheels after backing off the brake adjusters. The brakes work well, are quiet and bedded in very quickly working really well on a downhill stop from nearly 40mph with no fade.
