Worked Well
I had to tighten the torsion springs after adding horizontal wind bracing to my garage door (I live in Houston). First I marked the bars with electrical tape to insure they got the all the way in the socket to prevent slippage. Then winding was not difficult.

Great product
Working like great the garrage stop buckling and his less noisy . This is a very effective way of resolving this kind of problem with old garages .

It works, but need more predrilled holes
Background: very basic unskilled DIYer, using basic milwaukee electrical driver (not even a drill or impact driver)Nock off one star for not having enough pre drill holes to match mine, I would love to see more pill shapes holes predrilled on more locations, even if it’s not matching any of mine it’s fine, at least it tried but the provided holes are not even trying to be more generic.Provided self drilling screws didn’t drill well but maybe it’s my tool or skills is bad, not stable enough to put weight on it while drilling.Luckily I found some smaller self drilling screws left my previous handyman’s work and it drill pretty great. The sagging is solved and no more beeping warning from my motor.Lastly, don’t mind the wood in the door, that’s installed by some handyman don’t know what they are doing , but at least it’s free as a extra for the main project they were doing.

Save us thousands
Long story short, hurricane came power was lost for a few days, husband put the manual slash on without telling me. So power came back on and I wanted to take the trash out. When I tried to open it, it got stuck!! Yes, I broke it but it was his fault😒, the top panel was bent… and so we called a well known garage door company, gave 2 quotes: $1500 for a panel or $4000 for a whole door. So we called back wanted just 1 panel and they said unfortunately our door has discontinued (our house is only 6 years old), HOA said it could be any brand too, back and forth, this no good that no good, leave us the only option was to replace the whole thing. My husband was like dude, seriously? So he started looking for solutions on YouTube. Videos shown how and what to get to fix similar problems. We replaced the bar and the door popped back out by itself. And it only cost a little over $100 and 2 hours. So yes, I highly recommend this!

Inaccurate measurements and missing parts
I bought this item due to the measurements listed on the product review. It said the two large pieces were 7' 9" and the third (middle) piece was 3' 11". I needed the 3' 11" to secure to two vertical beams. Support was compromised. The actual measurement was 2'. Had to Frankenstein pieces to make it work. Frustrating expecting what it was advertised as and get something way off. Also, it was missing 5 plastic washers for the small screws provided. Once again I had to improvise.

Fixed a cracked/bowed door
Works as advertised. Door spring broke and caused door to tweak and crack. Replaced the spring but the door wouldn’t open or close properly due to the crack allowing the door to flex. Installed the brace in 5 minutes and door now moves freely. Saved me from buying a new door.

Great!
The media could not be loaded. When a hinge broke on my 16-ft wide garage door, the door sagged and prevented me from opening or closing it. I made a temporary fix with angle iron but the door still did not work well. When I purchased this support system I found it to be very easy to install, the threaded screws worked perfectly and within 30 minutes my door was better than new.I followed the directions, installed the 3-ft center section, then added the two 8-ft pieces that meet in the middle. Though the holes provided did not line up with existing holes on the door, my Ryobi drill driver easily drove the screws into the heavy duty support and the door panel supports behind it. I was glad that the garage door installation company was so busy that they were not able to get out to my house for a couple of days. That gave me time to order and install this support that fixed the problem and saved me a lot of money.
