FolkmanisEnchanted Tree Hand Puppet

I'm yet to use this puppet, but I'm sure that I will.

This puppet is wonderful. It is full of character and makes a great change from the usual people and animals. It's clearly been designed by someone who uses puppets because it works how it ought to. All the movements (mouth, arms/branches and eyes) can be used at the same time without too much difficulty. The fact that the eyes move is fun and unusual. It isn't cheap but it is extremely well made and therefore worth the money. Buy one now!

Fantastic puppet! The children I work with love him and he really comes to life with the moving eyes. Thought a few younger ones might be scared of him but no one has been yet. So many parts you can operate (mouth, nose, eyes, branches) you have to get used to switching between things with your hand but not too tricky.

He is magical, smaller than I thought he was going to be as I already have sage but still lovely just need to get to grips with his movements

Like most Folkmanis puppets, this Enchanted Tree is more a person with whom to share your home than a toy to stash away in a box when not in use. I understand that, for copyright reasons, Folkmanis could not really claim that this puppet is the Treebeard character from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, but he is very much what I imagined when I first read about a tree who could uproot himself to walk, spoke in a booming voice with slow musical intonations and was -- at his innermost ring -- kind. I have always loved trees and this one is even cuddly. Very few trees can reciprocate hugs.His eyes will move, controlled by what feels like a cardboard piece inside his head, and he yawns beautifully. He also makes a wonderful soft sculptured presence with a nice circular base of fabric around the inside of this trunk. He stands well alone but for extra balance, you could stuff his trunk with a piece of those inflated plastic packing cylindrical things that Amazon uses.He arrived promptly, just in time to enjoy the annual fall toadstool (mushroom?) explosion in my yard, but he also has one of his own.

Das ist eine so schöne Handpuppe. Sie ist ein tolles Spielzeug und für unseren Enkel total faszinierend. Sobald ich als Baum spreche hat er wieder gute Laune. Absolut empfehlenswert und sehr gut verarbeitet.

I adore Folkmanis puppets, they are the best out there and I collect the miniature ones mostly, but my mother loves Lord of the Rings and ents (those are walking, talking trees for those of you not familiar) and saw this and hinted and hinted that she wanted it for Christmas. The puppet is adorable. The bottom branches will move, as well as the mouth, and there is a spot inside the puppet to control the eyes! It's very well made, as all Folkmanis puppets are, and even cuter than the picture. It was totally worth the $40 we paid for it!

Der Baum ist einfach nur toll.Er ist hochwertig verarbeitet und die Nähte sind auch gut verarbeitet.An manchen Stellen stehen ein paar kleine Fäden über,die man mit einer Nadel nach innen führen kann.Der Stoff ist sehr robust und wirkt wie ein hochwertiges Sofa.Man mag den Baum gern anfassen, da dieser sehr kuschelig ist.Die Augen lassen sich mit ein wenig Übung bewegen undschon nach kurzer Zeit hat man den Dreh heraus wie man Mund, Augen und Armegleichzeitig bewegen kann.Kleiner Tip:Zeigefinger zu die Augen,kleiner Finger in den linken Arm,Daumen in den rechten Arm,und Mittel + Ringfinger in die Unterlippe.Die Kinder sind erschrocken, fasziniert und neugierig zugleich.Die ersten Augenblicke sind einfach nur süß zu beobachten.Da der Baum eher Papas Spielzeug ist,darf er nicht in Kinderhände.Und das ist auch gut so.Nun ein wenig Kritik.Was mich ein wenig ärgert ist allerdings das ein Kärtchen mit einerGeschichte über die Figuren dabei ist, welche in englisch ist.Alle Anweisungen und Funktionen sind in englisch erklärt.Zudem fehlt eine Pflegeanweisung.Da ich kein englisch hab, ist es ärgerlich.Fazit:Tolle Figur, dessen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis durchaus fair ist.Die Qualität ist der Hammer und es ist soweit ich weiß,die einzigste Figur im Niedrigpreissektor mit so vielen Funktionen.Von innen beweglich sind:die oberen Äste,die Augen,der Mundund die Arme.5 verdiente Sterne für alle, die sich selbst oder ihren Kindern ein wenig Spaß bereiten wollen.
