So calming
I had come across this therapy putty when I had taken my son to therapy and it really helped ease his anxiety as he was talking to the doctor. I even found myself playing with it so I bought some for us because I have bad anxiety and something about it is very calming. The size of the containers are perfect to toss in your purse or keep one in your car or on your desk at work, It doesn't have a nasty scent and very easy to use. Definitely a good deal. I love the consistency of all the different levels of firmness and its very durable

This stuff is no joke! Literally the best buy for hand therapy and muscle recovery and strengthening. The xx soft is xx sof and the x firm is close to the firmness of clay bars definitely worth the money of your removing from any injury! Or if you just need to fidget!

Soft Ones Are Sticky
I am an occupational therapist, and have a lot of experience with using putty in therapy. This set appears to be a good deal for the price, especially if you are working to rehab an injury or need to strengthen your hands quite a bit. It also could be a great deal if you have several kids that you want to give putty to use, and they all have different amounts of hand strength. The colors are modern and attractive.The putty comes in XX soft to X firm. From the softest to the firmest, they are progressively harder to squeeze, as they should be, so you can use a different one as you gain strength. I do not think that the ratings of soft or medium in this set correspond to those words on other brands of putty. So, if you used "medium" putty with your therapist and get this set for home use, you may need to start with the soft in this set, or test several to find the right firmness.The one thing I don't love about these, is that the putty is more sticky than other types I have used, this problem is more significant the softer the putty. The XXsoft putty really sticks to my hands while I work with it. It does peel away clean when done, it just feels sticky on the skin. Also, my autistic child points out that this putty has an odor.

My child’s therapist told me about thera-putty and the benefits of nervous system regulation. We bought some beads to put in them and then we froze them. I swear by this stuff to help my kiddo regulate and will keep them busy for hours!
