DOESN"T FIT
The female side of the CGA-580 coupling is too small and a normal Victor flow meter / regulator will not thread in. It gets about two or three turns and jams up. I didn't take the time to try the other end because what's the point. Clearly not made to standard measurements. They probably made it with whatever was closest in metric and thought it would be good enough.

Perfect fitment for my tank To my Lincoln welder.
Easily connects to my CO2 tank regulator that came with my welder to tie in the gas feed to my Lincoln welder. Functionality and fit is perfect and the unit is made of quality brass. All in all the accuracy of the description is right on and if you know what you are looking for the value is spot on with the cost.

Don't buy. it leaks and you can't tighten it.
I finally got my gas tank filled and back home from the local gas supply 33 days after ordering this and attached it a couple days later. I found out it has a massive leak from the threads they tighten at the factory and I'm two days passed the return period. And yes, the washer compressed perfectly. I used soapy water to find where the leak was. I can see a little teflon tape in the threads they tightened, but there is no way to loosen or retighten it yourself. The inside of the tube does not have a hex and there is no room to fit even the smallest clamp on the 8mm of tubing showing between the two parts. Maybe if I take it to a machinist they could tighten it, but it isn't worth the price. Don't buy it because they obviously don't test their work at the factory.

Could be better
The adapter fits perfectly, but take time to check all the connection points. Also throw the seals in the garbage that comes with it and get the hard nylon seals instead.
