Pain to install
Didn't watch the installation video before hand, wish i did. The included instructions were as harder to follow than ikea furniture instructions, but words were included. Managed to install by myself but would recommend atleast two people for installation. packaging was damaged upon delivery, but thats the fault of USPS some of the poles were bent but was still able to be installed and fits. will update review once ive had it for a bit.

Buy and actual soft topper not this junk
Biggest piece of junk I’ve ever touched . Came broken and missing parts. Box looked like it was ran over with holes through it. Was issued a replacement when it showed up box had big holes in corners and was tattered. Don’t know if pieces were missing or broke I returned it

Pros and Cons
I'm giving three stars because the assembly is easy...but not because of the directions. Its easier to assemble if you watch the tutorial (the animated one that shows the diagram). I was able top put it together much faster than if I read the instructions. That said, I got it all put together and tomorrow will have to go out there with a hair dryer (unless its a sunny day) and stretch it. The material is VERY tight. I recommend doing this on a warmer day and allowing the sun to soften the material a bit otherwise you won't be able to line up the material with the slots that hook onto the long bars attatched to the truck bed. Yes, a pain.I suppose its supposed to be tied to help keep it in place. Also, you have to make sure that when you slide the bars into the sleeves that they are already facing the direction they should go. In other words, if you wiggle them in (they won't wiggle because the material is that tight), you won't be able to line up the bars once they're in the sleeves. Its not the worst thing, you'll have to remove the bars and do it again. Its a bit of a pain, but I paid $400 for mine.I wouldn't say a total waste, but for the money you get what you pay for.I may have to do another review video once I stretch the material. But for now, its on, but its like putting a jacket on a frame that is two sizes too small.

Piece of #@#@
Since I can’t give a zero star rating, in order to submit selected 1. Apparently the package we received was a defective return . It was missing parts, the Velcro was apparently applied by whoever returned it, pulled off and thrown into the box. Of course it was stuck and unusable. The kicker…. The zipper on the right side back is MISSING! Oh yeah, the poles were also bent. Absolutely no value for the money spent. And one more thing. There were no printed instructions in the package.

Great idea but…
Where to start! Assembly was a bit of a challenge. Instructions were poorly written (what a surprise) Velcro adhesive was totally useless…no matter how clean was the surface, Velcro was just too much for adhesive tape to hold it in place. Cover is not what’re proof as stated . At advertised price of $800…way overpriced! For what you get. It offers a degree of cover but most definitely not what I expected at that price range!

A nice temporary truck canopy...
I've always liked these fold-able canopies that allow one to get out of weather when backcountry camping while keeping their stuff dry. This model for the Ford is nice in almost all respects with two small gripes. I like that it folds out of the way and also one can roll the sides and rear window up and out of the way. I do wish the sides had windows, even if tinted, and that the overall height was truly cab high. Not quite sure why it isn't other than keeping the 3rd brake light exposed. I don't know. It's a short bed and a short topper and having an aftermarket 3rd brake light makes sense to me. A magnetic strip might have been a cleaner finish to the rear versus the hook & loop. Jeeps have been using breakover edges into a slot for decades and it works well and cleanly keeps the entire top in a taut position. Something to think about. I wouldn't kick this outta my bed for being the way it is but it could be a bit better.

It does the job.
I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered this, because the price was so much less than others I’ve seen. I decided to give it a shot. The video made installing easy and the quality is on point. It looks good, doesn’t leak and feels durable. I’m happy with it.

It works, but you get what you pay for.
So for the price point its a bargain. But you get what you pay for, you're not spending 2k on a name brand soft top, so the double sided tape and Velcro used to hold down the back flap is appropriate for the price point. Didnt leak in first rain!
