I was worried about feedback stating leakage. However, I have not had this problem at all. Tools provided were for for purpose, although I needed to prize the lid apart with a small plastic spatula.Fitting the mouth piece in was rather fiddly and needed to be done before adding the bent silicon tube the. Then slots into the lid.There were two sets provided, so reasonable value for money.

These don't fit properly.

Not sure if just me, but couldn’t remove the old bits from the bottle, so couldn’t use in the end.Just ended up buying a new bottle in the end.Nice idea though. But not very easy to take apart.

This only fits the old types of the bottles where the silicone is not connected to the plastic. No instructions provided

The two pieces do not fit together properly, so there is no seal allowing for easy drinking. Essentially, for every drop of water that you do get up, you probably get ten times as much air. Absolutely pointless.

I fixed my adult-sized Contigo “Ashland” bottle with a combination of this kit and another which has replacement for the plastic part of the spout as well as a one-piece silicone section that proved to not be suitable for my bottle. I had to use the two-piece silicone from this kit but it only fit in the plastic part from that kit, not the one that was originally in my bottle.Lots of faff but still cheaper than buying a new one but most importantly saved me from chucking out an otherwise perfectly good bottle.My advice to anyone with a Contigo bottle they need to re-spout is to disassemble it fully first (warning: you will be appalled by how mouldy the parts you couldn’t see are) and compare the parts to the pictures of the various kits on here before you buy one. Hopefully you’ll find one that is a perfect fit as they all seem to be subtly different internally.Ideally Contigo themselves would offer replacement spouts as then they’d be able to give you an idea of which part fit each bottle as that’s clearly something the third-party manufacturers can’t do. Either that or they could just make them all with the same spout. There must be loads of people who buy one of these kits, find if doesn’t fit their bottle then give up, chuck the lot in the bin and buy another.
