I'm actually using this clamp along with one of many monopole/tripods. Since those poles are normally wider, I wanted a clamp that was made for a wider pole, and also one that will stand up to being moved about.The huge chunky clamp and mechanism are very easy to engage and disengage to poles. Often with this type of clamp you would find the things you need to turn are quite small and can be obstructed by other parts of the clamp itself, but not the case with this one from Vkesen.The double ball mount gives you significant adjustability for positioning your action camera. I'm using an Osmo Pocket 3 with a case that has GoPro attachments on the back and it's been absolutely fine with it, even with the extended battery that basically doubles the weight.I wanted a clamp I could be confident with, and that's exactly what I got.
