The media could not be loaded. The OrcaTorch ZD710 zoomable dive light is a great light at an incredible price for its functionality. I’m a commercial diver and work under boats all day. This light has held up great over multiple of dives and the battery life has not dropped. Being able to choose your beam width is a great feature and helps me pinpoint specific spots during an inspection to better help the customer know exactly what I’m looking at. Overall I’m very happy with this flashlight and on my first dive with it, I found a nudibranch chilling on some reef. For reference this video was taken at 0900 in full sun at only 20 feet deep. There was a lot of natural light, but the flashlights narrow beam cut right through it. Not all dive lights are created equal but the versatility of this light really has me impressed. Love the case and included lanyard, and knowing there are lots of options for mounting or holding hands free makes it great for divers like my self that need light but also need to use their hands.

The adjustable beam of the ZD710 can be range from a narrow 8° to 76° angle by simply twisting the light head, very simple and convenient to adjust the light on the way with just a small twist. This is one of the features I like the most.It is also very bright and you can change the intensity by progressively pressing the green button with a maximum of 2700 lumens. You can see in my video and photos that the visibility on that night dive was fuzzy and the light responded very well.The ZD710 has a battery indicator ring around the power button, which shows battery levels in green when it is over 30% and when it turns red when it is between 10% and 30% and flashing red when it is less than 10%. Very convenient to know at all times how much battery you have left. You can also lock the flashlight by pressing the power button for 5 seconds, so it does not turn on inside the diving. I love this feature since I have one that has died in my bag more than once. I will not mention the brand so as not to discredit it, but it is a famous brand.Its waterproof rating is 150 meters, which is within the range that most divers need.It comes in a nice storage box that includes the light itself, very convenient for transport, one battery that has a USB-C charging port built into the battery itself with a capacity of 5000 mAh, I love this, you don't need a charger, it also comes with its USB-C cable, lanyard and spare O-rings, a second battery would be great. That's a suggestionI highly recommend this light, it is bright, reliable, rugged and versatile to adapt to different modes such as night dive, wide video light, or a concentrated spotlight.I really love this flashlight, it has an excellent price-quality ratio.
