I'm Awful at Assembling Stuff and I Bought This
I'm awful at building things. I have solid hand-eye coordination, but mechanically thinking I'm a mess. One summer in college, I worked at my uncle's sheet metal shop. At the end of the summer, the foreman let me know I was the worst employee at working sheet metal he'd ever seen, which is why by that point I'd been relegated to mowing the lawn and cleaning the shop.So buying something like this, it needs to be easy to put together and take apart or I'll never use it. I get so irrationally angry at Ikea and other things you have to put together. The PowerNet did not let me down. It's super easy to assemble and disassemble. I love that I'm going to be able to take this with me easily and that once my kid is old enough, bring this to his practices (assuming I force him to play baseball so I can vicariously live through him). The contraption itself is great. It's a sturdy, light-weight frame that gives some bend to it when the ball hits, which softens the impact. For adults and older kids, the only you need is a sandbag to keep it in place, although it comes with stakes as well.My 2 year-old has done most of the breaking in on the net, as evidenced in the attached video. This is a bonus feature that they don't mention. This net has been a fantastic baby-sitter as well as my child just stands in front of the net and throws balls into it until he runs out. Then he grabs them out, throws them into the grass and starts the process over again. It's allowed me to catch up on current events like the fact that we have a Presidential Election coming up and the rich guy from Home Alone 2 is running for president. What a world.

It seems to be made of amazing quality. Easy set up and take down!
I've been eye balling this for a while now and I was a little leary about purchasing this. But it is well worth the money!! It seems to be made of amazing quality. It has a metal base and super sturdy top poles (the poles that go on the side). The top poles are like those bendy tent poles but made by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. The net seems like it is made from a thicker nylon and can handle my 8 year olds fast ball no problem he tops out at about 45 mph. And my oldest lacrosse shot tops out about 69 mph. It seems to handle both with ease! It comes with an extra Strike Zone attachment which helps out my son a ton with where to pitch and you can position it wherever which helps with my oldests lacrosse. I was pretty surprised how easy it was to set up and take down. After your first time you should be able to do it in a couple of minutes maybe less no problem. I would recommend this to anyone!- If you have learned anything helpful with this review, please let me know by clicking the "yes" button below. Sturdy and quick set up
Love the performance so far. It’s holding together nicely, even with the fastest throws I got!!

This is the real deal guys
This is a great baseball net for pitching so far. I've only used it for a couple days but it does the job. It's quite sturdy and I did not need any of the brackets that you were suppose to use to secure the thing to the ground. I did not even need sand bags. Now I'm not a professional pitcher so I wouldn't know how it would hold up on 90+ mph fastballs obviously. The only thing I have to say about assembly is getting the rods and net together. It's not the easiest so you do need a bit of strength to put it together. The rods are able to bend but they are a bit stiff. The other one I used by GoSports also had the same design so I'm guessing this is how they all probably are. No way around it I guess. Also at first I bought the 7 x 7 by Go Sports but that one was too big. I have a small backyard. You really don't need the big one unless you have really bad aim and don't want to damage anything around it. I'm using it in fairly close range (about 15 to 20 ft away). I think pitching is fun and enjoy trying out the different types of pitches and getting better at it. I love my new net.

Great lightweight batting/throwing net
We ordered this for our eight year old son to get some off-season BP in at the house.Setup took just a few minutes with clear and concise instructions. I found it easier to feed the net through the first lower support rod, then feed the second rod through the net before placing it on the base. The frame will flex quite a bit.The storage bag was plenty big for the four support rods, frame pieces, net, strikezone marker, and stakes. The net was solid and barely moved with my eight year old swinging off of a tee. It did move when I hit, but not much, so older kids (of all ages) may need to use the included stakes or a sandbag. The weighted practice ball seems to be similar to the Total Control weighted practice balls, and we can always use another one of those. So far, so good.

Love This Net
I am a retired MLB coach and now little league coach for my kids. I needed some solid equipment to help me train the kids. I went with the PowerNet brand as the price was right and I loved that they had this 5x5 size net to go along with my larger nets.. I have had the net now for two weeks and it is awesome. I love the size and how the whole net is open to catch balls. I love the strike zone attachment also. We use this net for tee work and soft toss. We also use it as a pitching and throwing station. We put it at 1st base and the kids field ground balls then throw them into the net to practice their throws and we don't need a first baseman. Then just yesterday we used as a backstop at one of our stations. Just a great net very versatile and portable. Also what is really cool is my 10-12 years old can put this net up in under two min. PowerNet products are really the way to go and you just can't beat the price.

Poor shipping, great product.
This took forever to arrive. Contacted Amazon several times and they could not provide me with an ETA. Shipping was terrible, but I'm very happy with the product. Rating the product, not the shipping (shipped by Amazon)
