This is a solid grill constructed of heavy enough steel the allow for good heat retention. Like all charcoal smokers there is some trial and error adjusting air vents to control the cooking temperature. Charcoal tub is large and well ventilated enough to hold temperature for a long time. The rib rack is nice and the chicken rack will accommodate a chicken but also appears tall enough to hold a turkey. The side handles and latches make it a lot easier to move the smokerHowever the hooks are too small to use to heat meat for smoking. Drawbacks are that the thermometer is on top of the lid and away from the food where you can't see the temperature without standing over the smoker. The screws used to connect the bottom vents have spacers to prevent overtightening. This allows enough air in to prevent cutting off the air supply to save charcoal when done smoking. Also there is an air gap between the access door hinge and the side of the smoker. These air gaps can be closed and a another thermometer added and larger meat hooks bought. Once these things are done, the smoker will be better than more expensive grills.This smoker is a good value for the money and cooks as well as much more expensive bullet smokers

Easy to install had it put together in about 30 minutes. Worked great smoked a turkey ham and brisket all at the same time. My only recommendation about this product would be a second door at the bottom to load more wood or charcoal rather than lifting the whole unit up with all the food in it. The door could be a little more sturdy it's really thin and cheap.

This smoker is a great option for someone that is jee to smoking and also for someone that does want to spend a tons of money on an expensive one. I have used it several time since we felt in love with the flavor of the meat. It does a great job stay in great temperature for long time and also easy to clean. We love it! Even my dog lol 5 stars review!

Well made, cooks very well, and efficiently uses minimal amount of hardwood lump (mesquite) charcoal for long periods of smoking. A great smoker. God bless.

Work excellent, easy assembly

The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble. Functions as it should. My complaint is there is no seal around the door that lets quite a bit of smoke out. I’ll have to get some seal and go around it. Be sure to season the smoker before your first use. It’s a great smoker for the price. Works as good or better than some much more expensive units.

Love this smoker because you get to each level very easily so add either coal or water. It also has a very large/deep area for a lot of coal which is great so you dont have to keep adding several times. The only negative is the aluminum/tin side door. It does not lay flat so you do loose heat/smoke. Thats the only cheap part. But everything else is made really nice and heavy duty.
