Sport-BrellaVersa-Brella SPF 50+ Adjustable Umbrella with Universal Clamp

We used this yesterday during a rainy 4th of July parade and appreciated its larger size and water resistance! Originally purchased as a sun shade for summer sports watching; but worked great for rainy weather as well!

I'd recommend this if you don't want to carry around a large umbrella at the beach! We live in North Carolina, and when going to the beach, I always have this with me.My wife doesn't use an umbrella, but I feel much more comfortable being covered. The larger size of this umbrella does a better job covering my legs and arms than the original size.The wind on our beaches can get strong, so be sure to collapse this before walking away from your chair. My first umbrella like this broke the wire that keeps everything together when it fell (hard). This wire is at the top inside of the umbrella and holds all of the little rods together. It is made for normal use and not for falling.You can easily rotate and adjust the angle of the umbrella to better handle the wind. The joints can get some sand in them, and this may make it harder to adjust, but this easily rinses out with water.

I this new umbrella at the beach this weekend and was really happy with how easy it was to set up. The clip held firmly to my chair, and the adjustable arm made it simple to move the shade as the sun shifted. Compared to another clip on umbrella I previously bought from Dick’s (which barely offered any shade and felt pretty flimsy), this one felt like a major upgrade. The only thing to watch out for is the wind — if you don't position the umbrella properly, it can catch the breeze and either tip over or come loose. Once I figured out the right angle, though, it stayed put and made the whole day a lot more comfortable. The umbrella was also super easy to open and set up. The color I got was blue and the photos above are accurate. I also used the umbrella on a fold-able beach char and on the bigger rocker chairs with a square tube and it was able to hold it well. Overall great product so far we'll see how long it holds up.

Great addition to our portable GCI rockers -- easy to attach and manipulate. I'm glad that we have these when the sun is blazing down. Fold up nicely, and I can simply slide them into the portable chair case as well, so I just keep it altogether. It's a weird triangular shape which I guess can be helpful if you are on a tight sideline and don't want a giant round umbrella, but sometimes I think a simply round design would be better, than way you have consistent shade no matter how it's rotated. The arm has 3 pivot points so you can angle it to best suit your shade needs. Overall I'm very happy with this (we got 2 of them). This is one of those purchases where I didn't realize how nice it would be until I had it!

The umbrella shape is great provideing a good amount of adjustable shape angles but it does has its flaws. For the price I expected the connections (joints) to be alarger and more heavy duty with no play however eachone has about a 1/16th of an inch of play which you could not tighten, Which in turn make the pole lean more the the direction you have set. Also expectedthe pole to be an larger OD (outer diameter) of the pole The clamp is good.Can be tighten very securely with no play what so everOverall is it a good purchase but like previously stated it has its flaws.

Literally broke within in 5 seconds of use, the cheap hard plastic of the second joint literally just snapped right off. I didn't even open the umbrella yet, no forcing it, just a completely awful experience. I had bought this back in May and I didn't get to go to the beach until the 4th and there's nothing worse than getting to the beach and hoping for some shade and then finding out the piece of the cheaply made junk you were counting on was going to fail. Size, color, etc were all as expected, probably a tad small and I'm sure the kite shape may have helped with the wind but with these cheap little plastic joints all of that really doesn't matter, the thing wouldn't last even a light breeze.

I have had this for several years and bought a second one. I have used it on strollers, wheelchairs, canopies and wagons. It’s easy to adjust as the sun changes position.

Get this in the right angle and it shades your whole body! Good quality, stands up to a heavy breeze. We have two of these and use them at the beach. Would definitely recommend!
